Like installing a fire extinguisher inside a burned down building.
(He had a chance to stay in shape, He let his career go down in flames)

Damn, what the hell happened to Sam peter, he looked very good in that clip, nice and explosive. This is why guys like arreola need to get strength and conditioning coaches and nutritionists.

I finally figured out whom Sam Peter reminds me of..................Trevor Berbick.
Same build, about the same size, can't really box and both have a 2 digit I.Q.

    WHO NEX?

Sam Peter has signed with Bob Arum. This bit of news has flown under the radar due to the recent apathy for Peter after his 2 consecutive losses. I think Top Rank should do well for Peter in putting him in the right fights to get his career back on track. The fact that he is down in weight suggests he is taking his come-back seriously.

That would help him a lot in the long run.

Berbick wasnt half as stocky as Peter and was much more athletic. That being said he was definitly a mental midget just like Peter.

If i were Bob Arum, i'd include a clause in the contract that Peter's purse gets reduced by 10% for every pound he is over 245 or something. It's in his own interest: Peter in better shape means happier fans, meaning more people watching his fights, meaning more money.

Peter at 230lbs is a threat to anyone.

Why he let himself fight so overweight is beyond me :-(

Yea really.... Peter is a good guy. King is the one who ruined him for a while.

He was a soft spoken gentlemen, til King stuck his nose and comes out with this Who Nex ****.

Peter shouldn't be really be thrown the finger at anyways. Its not his fault hes that fat...(or should i say was that fat)

He grew up in Nigeria and food is not as much in a variety as it is in countries like USA. Of course the kid was going to ****in eat after he made some money and living in Vegas.... Chris Arreola on the other hand shouldn't really have a excuse for being a fat ****.

Also, whoever his manager is, hes a **** face. Peters overall management threwout his career wasn't exactly that great.

Peter did indeed loose a lot of time, but hes not even in his 30's so he can make up major for it... which imo he will.

how about that guy that can move with some more experience, I think thats the point of all this.

I still don't think Peter could beat him but he would have a much better shot.

Sadly he's too late in my opinion. He came in perfect shape against Wladimir and lost that one when Wladimir wasn't as improved as he is now. With the Klitschkos dominating he has no chance unless he goes for Haye's WBA title when he beats the alien fraud or gets robbed.

While you have a point, i don't think it's an excuse. When you're a boxer, you're supposed to be in shape. He could hire a nutritionist. And although each country is different, the Ghanian guys like Quartey, Clottey and others have no trouble being in top shape.
