    I honestly don't know, especially HW's.

At my gym, there isn't a single guy with a bit of fat on their bodies. Even the new guys that come in slim up within two weeks. So where do we get these fat-ass HW's from? What gyms do they go to where this is acceptable?

    Astounds me.

Being fat and having actual talent aren't mutually exclusive. Yeah your gym is filled with buff dude with little talent. There are a lot of in shape people in the world not all of them can be top shelf professional boxers.

i was thinking about this the other day. totally agree.

i'm 6'4 and i loved getting in shape for fights maybe even more than the fight itself. i cant understand how the heavies mainly, as you said, can come into the ring as a pro, be competitive, but sell themselves short when they are fighting on the biggest stage of all.

    thats baffled me for years.

no but those who have that talent to take it to the top owe it to themselves to have the discipline to be the best they can.

haha. i visited a mate in corpus christi, texas for about 6 months..and i hope the rest of the US isnt like that.

i never seen so many fast food joints and genuinely obese people.

in the end it pulled me down and i ended up just chasing tail and drinking beer at night with my mate and sleeping half the day.

no disrespect to anyone from texas...but corpus christi is a ****ing shithole. love the barmaids though.....

I don't think that most of them become fat until they have made it big time, because once they've become rich and famous they lose the motivation to stay disciplined with their diet and training.

Not just fighters, but pretty much in all the other sports. Football has some fat asses, Baseball has fat asses, etc. It's basically a lifestyle because of cheap fat, fast food.

You hardly ever get out of shape footballers, bar ronaldo and gascoine. Yet we have so many out of shape fighters
