yeh well the WBU still sucks. O'Hara wasnt a great performance Billy, do you think you guys underestimated him? For me his best win was Adimu. didnt that geezer have 16kos from 16 wins. whether thats against afrobums or not, you gotta respect it.
Billy thanks very much mate. "The WBU still sucks" :rofl :rofl Bloody hell Rob I thought you'd changed your tune then, welcome back.Nice to see you trying to get along with posters a bit now though :good
im not doubting Ricky Burns, Ricky is a quality technician, but I still feel Mitchell has got too much for him. Ricky has come on from his defeats and gone on a good roll. Mitchell come through against Johanneson and with his speed and power and guidence from the best coach in the world Freddy Roach things can only get better.
Jigsawigsaw, do you think its advisable for him to take this fight next ? I think Roach needs a couple of fights to get him sorted. ? What you reck ?
if your talking speed ricky more than as the edge in that dept over kevin and yes kevin as a slight advantage in power, but ricky's movement and defence are far superior to kevin's.we will have to wait and see!
rob i would never underestimate any oponent,i know and ricky knows what was wrong in that fight, kevin o'hara is a good fighter who gives his all i could see him winning a british title within 12 months.
This wouldn't be a warm up though mate. he'd get beat IMO if his defence is as good as last time out ?
yeah fair enough mate. Dont forget though it took Khan a few fights to iron out some of his defensvie deficiences (although they were much worse than Kevins :goos)and he's still doing it now so I won't be expected him to improve loads so quickly. Either way I like Kevin and wish him the best of luck over there and in his future.
fair play, he is under rated. i think super feather is a hot division and that one of kevin or ricky will still be at that level in the next few months and dont think he will ever beat either. i think maybe your underestimating mitchells skill and speed. How would you feel pitting your wits agasint Freddie Roach, that would probably be the biggest moment of your career especially if there is a REAL world title involved.
All fighters say this. we need to be sensible. you cant put fighters into world title fights when they have had 1 competative fight in there whole career and that was over a year ago. Personally i think Burns is ahead of Mitchell in development at this stage, even though i would fancy, and support mitchell to win (im a cheeky cockney to)
