Three active middleweights who CAN beat Williams?

Yup...it would be crazy for people to call a Pavlik win over Williams as one over a blown up WW. Williams massacred Kolle who went 6 with Ward and just had a near shutout against Wright. He fits fine at middleweight despite his frame not naturally being 170-175 like some others.

 

Middleweight's... Besides Pavlik I don't think much current MW's could beat Willy.
Tho I do think @ 154lbs, Martinez has the style to give Williams fit's.

 

Williams may be the 2nd best middle at the moment, but Pavlik is the only full time middle in the P4P top 100, which shows what sort of state the middleweight division is now

 

Williams frame is not a middleweight it's that simple. Yes he's tall but so is Caballero who stands 6'0 at junior featherweight for god sake. But right now at middleweight there is no fighters in that division right now that can beat Williams maybe except Pavlik but i still feel Williams can beat Pavlik.

 

I dont think I've ever even contemplated a Williams vs Martinez fight. Ridiculous, I know.


As far as Williams is concerned in the middleweight scene, I dont think there are many that can beat him. Pavlik can do it, but my money would be on williams.

 

if he can make weigh in @ 147 he is a welterweight
if he can make weigh in @ 154 he is a light middle weight
if he can make weigh in @ 160 he is a middle weight
if he can make weigh in @ 168 he is a super middle weight
if he can make weigh in @ 175 he is a light heavyweight
if he can make weigh in @ above that he is cruiser - heavy

don't trying to classify him by his height

his skill level allows him to do this..if he was horribly skilled with a glass chin his weight class wouldnt matter because margarito would have already beat him @ welter and a bunch of other guys as well

before im done in this thread im going to find 3 welterweights that are above 6 ft 2....and i bet none of them are in the top 20

 

**** The Ring and their rankings, they put P-Will at #3 at 160 so they could give their WW fighters excuses why not to fight him. The simple fact that he isn't even rated at 147 should tell you The Ring isn't objective anymore, its just a marketing arm for GBP.

 

whats the last date that PW made 147?

I'm not responding to your challenge because I don't care about your challenge. My post still stands as fact. How is Carlos Quintana rated, yet he hasn't fought at all in almost the same time frame that P-Will hasn't fought at WW? How is Margarito ranked when he is banned from fighting? But P-Will has no ranking whatsoever?
