OK let's get a few things straight mate, I've NEVER been on the floor in my life!! Simple as that, Watch the sky fight and I was clearly hit on the left chest muscle so if anything I have a weak left breast not chin.:yep

My fight against Powers was purely a boxing match, Nothing but speed and combinations thrown in that fight, Not 1 power shot was thrown all night as I was told I was boxing again in 4 weeks,I could have gone into that fight looking for the KO BUT what would I have learned?? Plus Powers is a decent puncher himself, Just ask Chello Renda, I did't wanna to risk hurting my hands when I have another fight coming so soon, I hope that clears that one up pal.;)

I boxed a kid called Wayne Brooks in my 3rd fight and it was his 5th, He was unbeaten!! He came to win and predicting he was gonna flatten me to anyone who would listen, I knocked him spark out in the 3rd, He has gone on to beat undefeated Harry Miles and was beating Shon Davies in a Welsh title fight until being badly cut from a headbutt!! So I hope that clears up fighting someone who wants to win mate, I also fought Phil Goodwin who was 5-1 but his loss was also on a cut in a fight he was winning so I guess he was as god as unbeaten too and don't forget when these guys fight me they come to fight cos they know if they turn me over there gonna get another few decent fights out of it too!!

Paul Bonson who you said has been knocked out?? By Who?? I gave an awful lot of weight away to Paul and he's the toughest man I've ever fought. If I took a bat in there it wouldn't have made a difference BUT Claude Abrahams did write, "I thought Bellew was gonna be the first man to ever legitimately stop Bonson" also Paul said after the fight to me that I was one of the hardest punching kids he's ever been in with so I took that as a compliment, He said if it was 6 he wouldn't have carried on. Remeber he's boxed Froch, Maccarinelli too so I guess they've lost power too mate.;)

I boxed terrible against Andrejevis no excuses!! The only thing I will say though is that it was never a knockdown and the ref knew that too after looking TV replays..:goodPlus I still won every round very clearly and so I should against that calibre of opponent..

I would also like to say my style has changed cos Peo boxing and AM boxing are 2 different sports, My style was never suited to a computer and I was boxing out of best division yet still sparked 30 guys.. I was always chasing in the am's and hated it at times too. I have always had the basics drummed into me and have always used them it's just that in the am's you can't show nothing over a 2 min round, It was a glorified game of tick. My style now is what I always wanted it to be, Tight defence at times with good counterpunchig skills, Im happy with were Im going with it and will not change t for anyone..;)

Farnell has shown me the importance of defence, stamina and good old fashioned hard work!! He is constantly trying to improve things at the gym and with his own technique's too, He's a great motivater and a great trainer as well as being a true friend!! Stands by you no matter what!!

I think the last thing is the Cleverly topic, Well I'll say this, He's getting a lot of rave reviews at the min and deseverdly so, He looked great in thumping McIntosh he really did, BUT in the same breath, McIntosh ain't me!! If he stands and trades wih me the way he did with McIntosh I'll leave him asleep!!! The fight will be made in good time and I know right now 90% of people see him winning probably more like 95% cos no one knows who I am yet BUT believe me when I get my chance Im going to take it with both hands!! When I arrive on the scene I ain't going away for a long time!!

I hope I've answered all your questions mate,:good

Once again thanks to all the comments placed by you guys on here, I appreciate your support and your critisisims, I take it all on board..;)

P.s Sorry about the spelling mistakes I know there will be loads..:yep Let's not forget I do get punched in the head for a living..:yep

    EDIT EDIT

Sorry have read back the rest of the post. quite right. still get Gavin out of the boozers.

Mate fair enough your getting attacked here for what seems no apparent reason, but that argument used by trainers or boxers is just bull****.

on this forum a boxer, trainer, promoter opinion means as much as yours. i thought you were more intelligent than to come out with the "who do you train" line.

That is a classic ESB rant. At least 5 paragaraphs and plenty of smilies.

He makes One Punch look like an amateur :yep

He is right though. If some guy i didn't know started telling me how to do my job I would ask what he has done to be telling me what to do.

Training fighters has an awful lot to do with getting a fighter to respond to feedback, have good rapport between the two and knowing your fighter like you are almost reading off the same page.. Many people said Teddy Atlas was an amazing trainer but i have spoken to Shannon Briggs, Mike Grant (recently) and people who were a long time around Mike Moorer and they all told me similar about the man, he always wanted to be the star of the show and ruined Grant especially by constantly telling him everything he did wrong and poined out all the negetive things first.. Knowing how a fighter responds to critisism is all about communication and imo Anthony is getting very good responses from all of his fighters at the minute and he heads the list of good classy up and coming trainers.. I work with Friday Ahunanya and i know what makes him tick and if he is having certain things go wrong in the gym i often know how to work around it because i know Friday like we are twins. Anthony is a man i used to go watch as a young pro because he was in my cousins division for years (Mike Jones) and shared billing on quite a few cards in Altringham , Manchester and liverpool .. Anthony was in that great mix with Wayne Alexander, Steve Roberts, Takaloo, Michael, Richard Williams, Gary Lockett.. Boxing will be a much richer sport in Britain with respected young trainers like Anthony making waves .... Trust me Tony Bellew and Frankie have a gem of a trainer there.. Good trainers dont bragg, they just get results...... God Bless.....
