It isn't rocket science that Lewis had bigger explosive strength than Klitschko, punched harder, was more versatile in round punches, and would find the timing to get to Vlad hurting him. I think the older, more versatile and aggressive Vlad would even do better, but I think he can't hurt Lewis early enough more than the other way around. But that would have been a good fight. The methodical Vlad doesn't have the tools to keep Lewis away from him enough.

as is said before it only comes to your gut feeling, what you outing from the interview, and i felt that steward was being polite in breaking that to simple 50-50%.. he works for vlad, it's a fact. you wouldn't go and say in the interview what do you really think would have happened, especially if it does not favour your current employer.. it's only a deep feeling, my friend, that he is not doubting much in the outcome.. i say it's at least 70-30 at him, in favour of lewis.. at least.
too bad can't say more than that, have more facts..

Lewis wins by stoppage in the mid rounds. Lewis could fight on the outside, on the inside, and could move well. He's just as big and strong as Wlad. Good fight, but I think Lewis key to victory would be his ability to fight on the inside. He's a more versatile offensive fighter. He'd land something big inside and Wlad would go down.

No offense... it's just that there is always 100 threads on this subject every month already. For you to take such a great interview, and completely twist Manny Steward's words around like that is uncalled for. I could just as easily twist his words around to say that he felt Wlad would win. It's just silly.

That's pretty much the same thing I got from it, too. It's also the two most likely options for the fight to break down to as well. :thumbsup

imo, i'm not twisting manny's part about vlad. i have no interest in twisting anything here due to i'm a current fan and a follower of vlad. i like the guy. without hugging and stuff.. because of that and only i'm trying to share those impressions i received from reading manny's words. not everyone on the board, who likes to matchdream vlad-lewis, but a trainer who knows both fighters very well. this is my impession and i have no intention to embedd it into you or anyone esle. just discussing what got me interested..

Lewis could fight on the outside- but not as good as Wlad does. Lewis could move, but Wlad's movement is also better. That's why I think Wlad wins the fight at range, but Lewis' more developed inside game would give him the edge if he could close the difference. Could Lennox eat the punishment to get there? That's the million dollar question.

Wouldn't be an easy fight for either man and I certainly wouldn't want to bet on the outcome of it. Anybody who predicts an easy night for either fighter's off the mark IMO.

Lewis would do a michael grant on wladdyboy. and then we would hear reasons on why wlad lost! was poisoned, blodsugar level went down or santa never came with presents when he was a child..

    :yep:yep:yep:yep

just wonder how can he keep lewis on the outside? here is probably the difference shown in vit-lewis match, when needed he goes inside through punches, through pain. i've seen that.
