So you're saying he should chase Pac around the ring and look to clinch? Like I said, Pacquiao will not play into that clinch ****, he knows that's where he's most vulnerable.

why is everyone so critical of cotto. he is a great fighter and still is. look at his last three fights in one he was probobly fighting a guy with loaded gloves and sure he was stoped but he fought a valient fight. in his next fight he started carfully then dominated. then in the clotty fight he fought with his eyebrow torn to shreds for most of the fight and still won. we are saying cotto is washed up and has no shot based on two fights where the deck was stacked against him and that simply isnt fair.

If Cotto can effectively control the distance between them then he could win. Morales and Marquez both done this and they kept Pac reaching/lunging, which he then paid for with counter shots. I dont feel Cotto can do this as he hasnt really shown me that he can (he did somewhat in the Mosley fight) also the fact that he's to left hand dominant will be an issue as im sure Roach will have the perfect gameplan to exploit this.

have a backup plan when pac starts sidestepping his jabs and throwing bombs before he can reset.

Come on man you know that's not what I mean.:patsch I'm talking about strategic clinching like Mosley used against Margo and what Hopkins and PBF do.

Cotto just needs to wail away. Cotto's best punch is that left hook to the body, and that is a great shot to use against southpaws!
I think Cotto will be the bigger puncher, a slug out favors Cotto. Cotto was able to last for a while with big Margarito punching at him, little Manny Pacquio should be no problem. Cotto will do more damage to Pac than Pac can do to Cotto.

 I know what you meant but Cotto is not going to change his fighting style in a few weeks.

This one-handed fighter/left-hand dominant **** is too funny.

Cotto has good power in both hands, but his murderous punches come from the left. People keep ignoring the fact that he's hurt people with the right hand before, but knocked people out with the left.

    The right is HEAVILY underrated.

He stunned Torres with a straight right hand, backed up Margarito with a right hand...nailed Mosley witht he right hand.

The right hand is underrated as well as his newly found defensive stance. He adopted a somewhat untested Peek-a-boo style during the Clottey fight, that I think he will use again and would work miracles against those pesky uppercuts.

Just watch. Manny will look fast...but just too ****in' small.

:good I couldn't have said it better to be honest... To me this is the way Cotto can win. On the inside.

By saying left hand dominant i dont mean to say Cotto doesnt have a good right hand. Cottos main and best punches are his left hook and left jab, and the fact that he is a southpaw fighting orthadox, to me makes him left hand dominant.
