wlad would fall apart in the first round of the bout. you seem to overestimate him but just imagine him in a ring with a predator like Lewis was. first jab from LL would make wlad **** his pants and start panic.

That's as silly as me saying that Wlad would do a Derrick Jefferson on Lewis. Then we would hear reasons why Lewis lost! The altitude, under prepared, out of shape because he was shooting Ocean's 11, or he never felt like he belonged at home after being shuffled around. See how dumb I can be too?

It's frustrating trying to read opinions of people with no sense of logic. Let's be realistic here. They are both great fighters, it would be a great fight... and BOTH of them have their own great set of attributes that could allow them to win the fight against each other. It would not be any easy night for either man.

Don't underestimate the ability to jab with authority and move that Wlad has, as well as throwing the straighter, more compact shots. Lewis was a fine outside fighter, but splitting hairs, Wlad's the better one. Also, I think Lewis would've been vulnerable to a great jabber- Mercer landed 60% on him in their heated fight.

    Steward........what to say really.....

You certainly have to take what he says with a pinch of salt. He mentioned that he thought Lewis was as gifted and talented as Ali..........but then went on to say WALD was as well.

He currently trains a fighter who lacks confidence so he's not going to say "yeah, Lewis would beat the ever loving **** outta him". Plus let's not forget that Lewis tore strips of VITLAY'S eye so Manny is trying to say on the Klit's good side by being.......well.......diplomatic.

In my opinion WALDO doesn't make it past two or three rounds against Lewis.

very last sentence would probably be a result of two strategies applied by lewis: golota style 1st round jump-up and may - may be! - quick tko/ko over vlad (although lewis will take some unnessassary risk himself) or methodical breaking down of vlad to get to close quarters in fourth and possibly finsih the fight by the 6th-7th round.

thing is that you can't compare wladdy with lewis.. one is atg the other one is a... "champ" over a bunch of losers with no chin no nerves and losses against nobodies..
maybe he would last longer in a chessgame, perhaps?

No, actually it's just wishful thinking on the part of the particular reader. :D

That's the REAL truth. Anybody who says otherwise just admits their ignorance.

    Yes we know this.....;)

Anyway, the inside game of Lewis would give him the edge, I can't really see how Wlad could beat Lewis but a KO is always possible with this kind of power. This would be something like 55%/45% or 60/40 in Lewis favor I think.

.................and please allow me to add that Mercer's jab was good but not in the same realm as Wlad's. :thumbsup

You were probably one of those ******s who didn't appreciate Lewis when he was fighting yet you'd still pick "A Prime Tyson" to KO him right. God, these same dweebs continually post **** without backing it up with facts. :patsch

Lewis is a better fighter than Brewster & Brewster beat Wladimir so that means Lewis would beat Wladimir even better, faster, etc.

Wladimir is a better fighter than Rahman & Rahman knocked Lewis the **** out, so that measn Wlad would knock the **** outta Lewis faster, etc.

    Stupid logic from stupid people.

    Applying that same twisted logic:

Lewis lost by KO against journeyman like Rahman & McCall so what makes you think Wlad would have any problems?

Both are All Time Greats...................get over it. It seems to make you mad that Wlad is considered great huh? Is it because you've spent so much time on here trying to convince yourself & others how he isn't? Hurts doesn't it? Good.
