Mid feb ai'nt the time 4 a holiday when you are facing the biggest fight ov yer life IMO, obviously it was'nt as far as Hatton was concerned was it!!!

He's been warned time & time again about blowing up in weight by 3/4 stone & whats the harm in cutting out the booze & showing a bit ov discipline, yer can't tell Hatton ****-all & it came home 2 roost big time did'nt it or are you saying in you opinion that he was in top shape!!!

Crash dieting wrecks yer & that 4 extra weeks just slowly slowly dropping down may have saved him having 2 boil his arse off in the sauna right upto the weigh in. If i'd had seen Hatton laying on a beach i'd have called the paramedics, just look at the weigh in photo's, his whole core struture is dissipated then look at pacman, alot ov you hatton fans just don't see it. I saw the same thing with Duran against Joppy when he was rescued in the 3rd at Middleweight back in 98, physically wasted, sunken cheekbones, punch resistence zero, but Roberto was 47 after all.

I felt sorry for all the young kids who paid out big $$$$ 2 go over there, i pissed a few off in the Zuri bar at the MGM when i said he'll get wiped out in 4 max & after the weigh in none ov-em were confident about the outcome, you've got 2 take into account that Hatton has had his carear mapped out nicely & it was 2 be DLH next up at wembley 4 another mega-payday but Pacman gate-crashed the party did'nt he, Pacman picked Hatton & not the other way round, case ov the Hunter being Hunted.

I'am convinced that if he'd shown more respect 2 himself & 2 the nightmare coming his way there may have been a different result OH & also listening 2 yer corner & following the fight plan would have helped a bit.

I don't need 2 question validity of the retired couple's 1st hand observation's ov what they witnessed aboard ship.

Hatton thought this fight would be a breeze & he got laid out by not preperaring his body & ignoring all around him. Also Pacman lives the life, you won't see him pissed up 24/7 & now we'll see what Hatton's really made of, has he the discipline 2 turn it all around, i hope so as he's not a shot fighter, he just needed 2 be exposed 2 himself.

youz still going on about this? **** me.
the really ironic thing in all this is that the guys who accuse me of being a mental case with no life etc seem to be the ones writing 500 word posts on a regular basis about the same old shite time after time. And it's not me doing the name calling and throwing personal insults....it's the likes of 'TKO' doing that. Now, how sad is that on an internet forum? The mind boggles at how pathetic some people are.
I can only laugh at some of these clowns on here.

anyway, Hatton can fight on if he wants. The reality is he's been thoroughly exposed for the fraud he is.

Im not blind mate I could see he looked ****ed at the weigh in. I was suprised to see this because he'd looked better than ever leading up to the fight, looked healthy, no cold sores ect, it seemed the weight was coming off nicely, obviously that wasnt the case.

IMO if Hatton wants to fight on, spending a bit of time with a sports phycologist of some sort would help, its not his ability what lets him down on the big stage, its his mentality. He gets too caught up and emotional in the even and loses his rag, hence the red mist. If he could learn to control this and keep calm and calculated, he's plenty left in the tank

Id have loved to have seen Hatton Witter, still would now, Witter did deserve a shot but it didnt happen, thats boxing, I just dont buy into the notion that Hatton ducked him. Lots of fights should of happened but didnt, doesnt mean one of them was running away.

I imagine it would be more to do with pride than money. He still has plenty of avenues open to him to make some money. With his name established in the boxing world like it is and the right people on his team he could maybe be a successful promoter. If he fights on it will be because he has something to prove, even if it's just to himself.

He probably wants to leave boxing on a high. Who want there last fight to be remembered because they were knocked out in a brutal way?

Where the **** has this lie about Ricky being greedy come from?

I know the guy and he is possibly the least greedy person I know! He isn't one to go on about what he does for charity or how he helps people he knows and cares for (esp James Bowers) out financially but those that do have some idea are always shocked that someone would be so generous, good and kind.

So, basically you are a liar! You have just decided that you want to believe and you want other people to believe that he is a greedy ****, so you make **** up and call him greedy, hoping that no one will question it. I will though. You show me proof of his own personal greed!

There's been enough lies told about Ricky on this forum, he doesn't deserve any of it! He is a great person and a great champion and he should be remembered as such, it is completely unfair to have scumbags like you and the other pricks on here doing their best to demean him and give him a bad name.
Obviously you have nowhere near the talent to ever achieve anything near what Ricky has but I guarantee if you did, you couldn't do more for other people than he has done.

Hand picked or not, I don't think there is anyone left out there, worth making a fight with, that Ricky definitely comes away with a win from.

I just don't think he has it anymore. If he fights again, he is fighting only to go the fans one more great win but who is out there that is a certainty? Torres? Bradly? Last year I would have said Ricky would swarm them and they wouldn't have a chance, today I cannot say with any certainty that Ricky wouldn't end the fight lying on.
Sad as I am to say that.

Cheers Gaz:( Give us a chance, mate. I've only just got back from a ban. Today is my first day back on and so far I have only found this thread and the Anthony Farnell thread that I want to comment on. I'll soon be off to General Disc and then to Classics.

Nice to see you too, mate:(
