his father never ate dogs and you don't have the proof for that or your just try to tell something:fire..

BTW to your main agenda barrera may not be that respected in his own country because he acts ***** inside and outside the ring.....

    hit pac twice during clintch..
punch barrera during a press con
and more... and I think mexicans don't like that kind of attitude

    Here's a small guess...could it be a class thing?

I mean MAB grew up with a decent family unit and with aspirations of going to law school at some point. This isn't like Erik Morales' "fighting in the streets to survive" story.

    Just a random guess.

Barrera will never rival the respect Pacquiao has in the Phillippines, because Pacquiao is the best his country has ever had, and no one even comes close. Where as in Mexico Barrera has many to compete with and some have been even better.

How "great" you are is not the be all and end all to determine how popular or how respected you are...Take Felix Trinidad for example, he's probably the fourth greatest PR fighter ever.. Benitez, Gomez, and Ortiz should be rated ahead of him, however he is cleary our most popular fighter ever, and I don't know if we'll ever have another PR fighter as big as he was/is...

A bit like how Frank Bruno is nowhere near the best fighter the UK has produced but is by far the most popular.

That's an article article (well, allegedly) from the media. It's not ant's 'agenda'.

And Pac's father definitely ate a dog.

Exactly. You can also take someone like Arturo Gatti (R.I.P.) as an example...there have been many greater champions who aren't nearly as popular as he was..

The best, the most respected, the most popular for whatever reason, Barrera will never be any of those in Mexico theres just to many fighters, and to many people with different opinions is what I'm saying.

I remember going to watch Barrera v Khan. The was no shortage of respect for him in Manchester that night - he got a legends reception, and after spending so many years at the top, that's exactly what he deserved.
