Question to Mexican posters in regards to Roberto Duran....

To give you an honest answer, I think I would've loved Duran MORE if he were representing his Mexican herritage as opposed to being represented from Panama.

If you look at the difference between the adoration of Duran and JCC Sr. its obvious that Mexicans tend to LOVE JCC more than Duran because he proudly wore the Mexican into combat everytime, whereas Duran, the more established and better fighter, doesnt recieve as much buzz in Mexico as Chavez does.

Anyone that says otherwise is kidding themselves.

Sure we love Duran. Loved his fights. Love his style. His attitude. But we most likely would've loved him more had he represented the

Tough question... Clemente is my all time favorite baseball player. Clemente dealt with being both black and latino or as they say blacktino. I would say that Ted was better though. However Roberto is a Latino loved by all...I am still waiting for the movie on his life
