96 Tyson would beat Wlad easy but with Vitali iam not sure

I think vitali would beat the 96 version of tyson but i think tyson still has enough power to take wlad out.

96 Tyson could hit and had a good chin but not as fast as he used to be. I think Wald out boxes him. Tyson always has a puncher's chance and Wald's chin has questionmarks. In the end I think Wald would use his hight and reach advantages to outbox Tyson and protect his chin. Wald by decision wining 8-10 rounds out of 12
Vitali is more hittable than Wald is. For a boxer of his size he is very hittable. His style would serve him better if he were a smaller man. The most important question is how dose Tyson's chin hold up? If he can take Vitali's punches he should be able to hit Vitali and score a late round ko. Tyson by stopage round 9-12.

Todays version does know how to hold on and doesnt panic like he used to.

1996 Tyson has a punchers chance against Wlad but not that good. But against 2003 Wlad, then 1996 Tyson might be able to get to him with pressure.

I dont think he beats Vitali, Vit stays calm and has good defense. Though the Vit of today has slipped a lot from 2004.

Really? Vitali is pretty hard to hit, atleast in 2004. He had good head movement and really used his height. He didnt get hit that much accept by Lewis. Sanders tagged him good but he couldnt land anything to follow up as Vit kept his cool.

Yeah holy went through hell getting tyson to have a breakdown in 3 rounds...Truth is tyson is overrated and Tyson caused Tyson to fall apart and knowing what a nutcase he is its no surprise he did also wasnt it botha who's arms he was trying to break in the ring.. Yeah whatever there is no luck and no such thing as a lucky shot whatever man and the best man always wins... What was Brewsters gameplan get waxed across the ring and almost stopped then lucking out that wlad all of the sudden couldnt even hold himself up...And how has it that wlad has not improved from his last loss which was over 5 years ago since then he has won 11 strait 9 of them ko's against the best competition available.. the record of his opponents since then had 339 wins and 17 losses.. so yeah and its not like opponents dont try to attack them as Manny said who is deffinately more knowledgeable then you said wlad is at his best when there is an agressive fighter in front of him they try to rush him but get nullified by his movement and jab.. ala lewis tyson, Tua.. Wlad is a very good and complete fighter today.. you might have blinders on and spew hate like when you said they were ducking people.. But yet have not been able to name one person they have ducked? WHO HAVE THEY DUCKED?

And how are you sure he wouldnt fold up.... because you say so please you who are hardly objective if you cant even tell wlad is an improved fighter over the one who fought sanders..:deal Just like Lewis improved under manny's tutelage...

Vitali Klitschko would've beaten the 96 Tyson, Wladimir Klitschko had a shot at doing so in both pre-Steward and current versions of Wladimir. I think the pre-Stewart Wladimir would go to war with Tyson and get KO'd, but the current version would clinch often and fight from a distance to win a UD.

I watched the Douglas-Tyson fight circa -'90 the other nite ..what are you smoking or drinking?.Tyson had his ass handed to him.:dead
Wlad would crumble that small man.
He has twice the power of Douglas.
You guys just must give it up..I'm glad we have some new gladiators out there that make it more interesting..and make smug fans like you more insecure.

Tyson looked great against people who covered up and didn't box him as he ran at them. The Klits would box him.

some people are smoking crack here. 96 Tyson knocks'em both out. I only see Vitali having a chance. There some great misconceptions of tyson. He fought many tall opponents and destroyed them so to say he was troubled by taller fighters is just bizzare due to the fact EVERYBODY was taller than him:) so you should just stop with this dumb argument. Secondly the thing about his heart is also a hater-perspective kind of opinion. Just see what Douglas said after the fight about Mike never loosing his will and the desire to win so he just kept coming forward trying to land shots. however the 96 tyson was not the same mentally that could be seen in the holyfield fight, but still he was trying hard to turn the fight around if you look at round 9 and the 2 mins of round 10.
Klitchko's are gettin just sooooo overrated it's crazy. The competition they've fought (except an old lewis) is just trash. never went up against a real champion, they are just knocking bums who are on Tyson's pre-berrbick level. It's not their fault tho', they fight everybody the only problem is that nobody's there. Heavyweight boxing today is a joke started out by corny overweight fat contenders Klitchko's have to face.

So basically you guys love a lot of BS conjecture and ego stroking. I get it now, I won't bother complaining any more, obviously it falls on deaf ears anyways.

Back to your regularly scheduled land of make-believe.

I've voted just he'd beat Wlad, I'm not sure how the Vitali fight would have gone down, can't make up my mind about it considering we're talking about a Tyson ten years removed from his peak. I don't think Wlad has the mental strength to take Tyson on, I think he'd freeze. A few people on this thread are not taking the intimidation factor into account.
