I assumed there would be a difference of opinion, but I am surprised people are picking Moseley? I am surprised he is even on the list!
He fights at Junior Middle and Welterweight. He is one of the best fighters, but this article was in regards to power!

For straight up pure punching power I dont think Randell is an unreasonable choice over Vic..Who relies more on his speed, physical size and awkwardness to chop guys down rather then abruptly take them out.

Depends what you put more emphasis on though..there isnt much between them.

Guys like Ezra Sellers or Jorge Arce were among the hardest p4p punchers of the early 00's..even though they were far from being the best overall fighters.

    Haye at heavyweight too.

He's running at a rate of more than a knock down a round.

So i see Manny pacqiauo is in the lead...SMH...Once again proof of Manny power being overrated...anyway I have 2 say P4P Middleweight King Kelly Pavlik has the best power

True. Also this is kind of a moot question, as there are a couple different degrees of power: inside, outside, one punch, wearing down... Power is kind of a misnomer in terms of boxing, as it takes so many different shapes.

Till the day he dies, Rafa Marquez will deserve a mention in a hardest puncher thread.

To be honest with you...and I've said this before months ago when this same poll came around. I still maintain that Edison Miranda is the P4P most powerful puncher in the game. His problem is his hands are slow, he's totally one dimensional with always trying to load up on a monster right hand, and skill wise he's awful...but in terms of one punch power, if that guy connects full force with a flush shot to the chin, there aren't a whole lot of fighters that won't go to sleep....just ask David Banks if you don't believe me.

i left a lot of guys off the list just because the poll limited choices to ten, as mentioned rafa, people allan green, miranda, the klitschkos definitely deserve a nod as well... but i wanted to do a cross-section of weights up to 168 or so, above that i feel like it gets hard to judge

and shane definitely deserves to be there, one of the most oft-cited records is his 34-0 (32 ko) record as a lightweight and hes definitely brought power all the way up to 154, destroying el feroz in their second fight and of course the margarito fight, 37 yr olds against the supposed best chin in the world and never been ko'ed... and he BRUTALLY KO'ED him
