Hopkins all day - all the way. Adamek is out of his league with this one. Hopkins won't stop him - but it will be a wide UD. Hopkins Legend will live on.
I'm a huge BHOP fan, but Adamek is no slouch. He hits like a train, and I've seen him training in Philly now.... It seems he's really up'ed his body work. I don't see this fight going to the judges, and I think Hopkins should pull from this fight.
Cruiserweight division is quite yuong division and there are not many fighters who can be named ATG, because for years there werent many world-class fighters. Adamek has some good wins on his account (Bell, USS, Banks) and win over a p4p legend in 200 lbs limit would be a great thing. Dont forget, that Adamek was also LHW champion, which makes his CW achievements more valuable. I know Golota is a HW, but its a big thing for a CW boxer to beat a solid HW (even years afetr his prime).
Also, Adamek has to defeat Golota, if he loses, there's no Hopkins fight incase B-Hop agrees the deal made by Duva and Schaeffer. If not Hopkins, it's Cunningham then, but for sure in HBO ! Adamek TKO in middle rounds or around 9 with power punch after the KD. Hope he will retire Hopkins. Go Goooral:happy
Thanks I like Szpila's attitude. He has very similar mentality to "Tiger" Michalczewski. They both would have been street warriors, if they hadnt started boxing. Szpila will be a great champ
