Good to see some news about Toney. We can't say for sure, but he doesn't look heavier than 220lbs right there. Not exactly superb condition, but I guess we can say he's in fighting shape. Like you said, Toney is 40 years old and this is the best we could have hoped for. Now it's important for him to get a fight as soon as possible, against a top 10 guy, preferably already on the Klitschko-Arreola undercard. One more fight, see how he does, and take it from there. If he looks anything but good, I'd say he should retire. Time is running out...

    :rofl

No, it's because the second they started to take him seriously he shat his pants then waddled back to the buffet.
He was Haye's role model for how to talk like you wanted to fight the Klits, but how to run away when it looked like it might happen.

No, you don't. Toney is in fighting shape like it or not. His face has notably slimmed down and the belly he carried during most of his hw fights is nearly gone. Longtime followers of Toney's career can tell you on the mere look of that video that Toney must have made lots of sacrifices to get in that kind of shape again. Toney will never look like a bodybuilder unless he uses banned substances...

Arreola is nowhere near fighting shape at the moment. He recently acknowledged that his current weight is about 265 pounds...

Looks about 225 pounds to me.

He will probably be about 220 pounds in his upcoming fights. At that weight, Toney will be able to handle himself well against the elite heavyweights.

Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore who Toney wants to emulate were able to fight well in their late 30's and early 40's. Toney could be like like them.

I have followed him enough to tell you that it must be about 6 years people are saying he's finally in shape....

He has wasted years of talent being dedicated to Burger King. Sad man he is. James Toney in shape is a hard fight for just about anyone. Too bad he relied on talent alone and never took his training seriously as a HW.

I agree that this has been a long time coming - Toney hasn't looked that fit since he beat Rydell Booker at the very beginning of his hw journey. Nevertheless, the facts are the facts, Toney is back in shape!!
