Official: Paul Williams Vs Kelly Pavlik @160:UPDATE!! Boardwalk Hall AC...ITS ON!!!

I wish this fight wouldn't happen because I don't think Paul is ready to make the move up to MW and I would still like to see him try to get some fights at WW and LMW. I'll be rooting for him but I think Pav might take it on decision, right now at least.

He won but it was a close fight dont lie about that I know you like Paul and all but dont lie...
You dont know what would happen if he fought Cotto, you can voice your thoughts which will always be in favor of your fighter, you talk about keeping it real lets keep it real you dont know what would happen if he fought any of those guys.
The Pavlik fight well you get to find out what he is made of, he did start out at a higher weight than 147 if I recall he started as a Jr Middle, or even a full blown Middleweight.
yes 157 is three pounds above the Jr Middleweight limit but its also three pounds below the weight in limit to fight for the middleweight title which indicates to me he shouldnt have any excuses in this loss.

I'm not suprised paul has taken the fight he has nothing to loose. The pressure is on kp can you imagine the devestating effect it will have on his career if he lost. Paul will still have options at 154 if he looses

If Williams easily beat Pavlik, how much you want to bet that Pavlik will make dumb excuses like the one in the Hopkins fight?

 

it was close but he won the first 6 rounds and won the last round... there fore he won... margo rallied back but he pulled a championship move by coming out strong in the 12th and pulling it off

there is absolutely no possible way cotto could beat paul honestly... if he struggled with the size volume & variety of margarito... it would just be 10 x worse with paul... that has nothing to do with pw being my fav... even ray charles could see that

 

I agree i just can't see Cotto beating Williams. Damn Imagine Cotto and Williams staredown? Cotto will be like looking at a tree.

 

Actually I had him winning 4 of the 1st 6 I only had him winning by one round in the end and that was the 12th I remember sayinnt Tony needed this round to get a draw.
I think Cotto can beat Paul~ any fighter can win a fight if they train right and have a game plan any fighter can win.

 

I don't see how anybody gave Williams 4 out of 6 rounds. Williams clearly won all first 6 rounds.

Sure he did, listen Margarito has a bad wrap, had one since he made Floyd **** himself when he confronted him face to face I expect to hear no un biased remarks about Margarito from the majority here.
