Because he faught the wrong fight...HE CHOOSED TO TRADE WITH FROCH and by doing this he lost his athletic advantages like speed ,footwork and skills...He would have beaten Froch if he had followed the same game plan as he did against Diaconnu...:deal
Froch delivers his pressure consistantly at one pace....through out tthe fight...it is very hard to fend off...also dont underestimate the acuracy of Frochs punches ...he doesnt miss many and most r straight....he drives his punches through your gaurd with real force.
I"ll give Froch one thing. He's got a good chin.. at the end of the fifth (I think) round against Pascal he nearly got decapitated... he came back the next round with no ill-effect.
I think Pascal just got a ticket to the "Real Deal" club. Whether or not he uses it remains to be seen in his next few fights.
Uh, he already won a title, against Diaconu. Anyway, I have him somewhere in between. I like to watch him and think he's exciting, but he'd need to make massive improvements to beat any top tier guys.
His game plan against Diaconu and Froch looked pretty much the same to me. The big differences are that Froch is actually aggressive and isn't a midget. Diaconu tried to fire back, but he was too short.
