True , but adamek aint pavlik , i think it doesnt need an explanation , if uve seen most of adamek fights u should know that he can box very well too, just to mention O'neill Bell bout , so its not like he'll close his eyes and throw a rain of punches to be countered all night , he's smart:good

and btw adameks power ko1 pavliks -||-

Adamek total punches thrown in 4 rounds vs Gunn - about 360

You can't compare it, Adamek has the skill and he can fit to the opponent. If he needs to throw a lot of punches, he does it, if he doesn't, so nope then. But, while taking the setence that 'you are as good as your last fight' Adamek would be very dangerous for Hopkins, I'm sure BHOP hasn't fought nobody as strong as Adamek yet. Adamek as a champ will have the right of chosing gloves so for sure his pick will be 10 oz, so the smallest, and that will cause that Hopkins feels Adameks fists so badly, he may not survive that.

I think people might be putting too much faith in Hopkins this time... i mean, i like Hops, hes one of my favorite fighters, but he might be biting more then he can chew this time.

He will be a good deal older then when he fought Pavlik
He will have been out of the ring for a good while
He is fighting someone bigger, stronger, more powerful, and just better then pavlik... or tarver... or taylor....

I dont know... Hopkins tale might end on this fight, but it was quite a ride.

i agree with you adamek is a much better schooled boxer then pavlik and he may hit harder then him to, he also has a way better chin. but the thing is that b hop and nazim know that hes no pavlik and they will build a plan to fight him accordingly. b hop has a nack for taking his opponents best tools away and i excpect him to do the same to adamek.
adamek may also be smart but b hops ring intellegence is one of the all time best.

Taking away your opponents greatest ability was nice when Sweat P did it...clinching the **** out of someone does not translate into ring smarts...although im not saying BHOP isnt a great technician but if he does the whole 1 punch lunge and clinch i cant respect that.

i can see either man winning. I think if Adamek pressures a lot and really lets his hands go, he will outpoint Hopkins but if he lays back too much and fights at a slower pace, Hopkins can potshot enough to outpoint him. It's up to Adamek to force the uptempo fight.

I think Adamek is a pretty savvy fighter himself and will go for it. I'd lean his way very slightly right now. Inactivity has got to cost Hopkins at some pt ud figure.

I think Hopkins will win a UD in a competitive fight. Hopkins should be able to take what Adamek has. I don't see Hopkins keeping Adamek off him though, Hopkins is going to have to tie up and box for the whole 12 rounds.

This is risky as hell for Hopkins. I like Adamek by close UD.

These are the reasons why I am pumped for this. Everything says that Adamek should be able to stop the aged Hopkins once and for all. Everything except the fact that Hopkins always comes up biggest when the odds are stacked the most against him.
