I personally do not count pre war fighters. I have a pre war and a modern list

Get off your rocking chair and think about a new list. If I could show you a video of a convincing looking caveman from the stone age you'd include him.

    Gene Tunney my ass.

Fought several weight classes...............only 1 loss in 76 fights..........fought the best of the time? Can you say Lewis fought the best of his time?

You're supposed to be ranking him as a heavyweight, not giving him bonus points for having been a light heavyweight.

Weight classes has nothing to do with anything on a heavyweight list. A heavyweight list encompasses what a fighter has done at heavyweight, Gene Tunney as highly rated as he should be overall in a p4p sense ain't making any top 10 heavy lists unless you have Bert Sugar tunnel vision for old timers.

He only fought a few fights there, and modern heavyweight fighters would wreck him.
