According to ESPN.co.uk there is no delayed coverage of FNF being shown

Boxing fans are far more hardcore than MMA fans.

This is apparent from how active boxing forums are in comparison with MMA and UFC forums.

The are many for big boxing forums, all more active than the biggest MMA forums.

Few people in the UK are going to be swayed to subscribe by the presence of UFC on a channel. A fairly reasonable number might be by boxing. Boxing is not massively popular, but it can have a swaying effect like it did for setanta for its fanbase.

and as for hayemaker,that is a new one on me .But it could be good to gwt some domestic action ,but will they have enbough ssaturdays free as they prob would show german football on the sat nigth .

the schedule on the website is messed up. they have ufc listed as being on tonight when it is on tomorrow night. they are showing a real madrid friendly tonight at 12.30am and thats not mentioned on the website schedule at all for tonight. id imagine the sky epg is the correct listings as it says rightly that the real game is on tonight and ufc is tomorrow night.

 

My Virgin V+ box still has FNF listed for 3.30pm tomorrow. It also has the Tyson fight listed for 7.30pm tomorrow

I just ordered espn right now cause of the fnf cards and the fact they showed the witter fight on their launch day.

i have also swindled my bro into paying for espn since he likes ufc....

 

I think checking the espn website is usually enough to checking the facts,and do we have any conf that there will be any long term commitment to showing boxing?

 

all these so called boxing fans signing up for the ufc (and not admitting it) knowing full well ESPN will have no commitment to boxing makes me sick

 

I think a lot on here are Virgin TV customers as well, slip. I haven't technically 'signed up' but I do have it as I pay Branson enough for my various media package deals.

 

I was dissapointed with todays boxing news basically regurgitating an ESPN press release - they wrongly referred to a sky ultimate package which isn't even available to retail subscribers. It's a pub package. Very poor form from ESPN firstly for releasing it and BN for not checking the facts. :nono
