Mikkel Kessler or Kelly Pavlik???

Biased, unbiased, or just plain stupid....it is a FACT that Pavlik has the better resume AND the better career.

If you don't feel the same, you are an absolutely WORTHLESS Boxing fan.

Kessler is one of the most overrated fighters of this decade...right up there with Hatton.

Overrated is a stupid, subjective term entirely reliant on scale and context and even then fundamentally unprovable. He lost to Calzaghe - he's hardly his "whipping boy".

You are probably the biggest Pavlik fan on the board and you still go with Kessler here.

I agree. However, much can change as you say. Kessler is in a good position, but also a position that could severely damage him. Pavlik is younger and has had fewer fights, so has years in hand.

Abraham, and the Andre twins top 6? Ring Magazine has two listed in the top 6. 4 in the top 10. Not a bad list, but not so 'super' in my opinion. Certainly not going to decide the king of the division. Again, clever showcase idea by Saurland before we knew he was claiming the rights to Kessler. I fully expect Kessler to win the thing, but, we shall see.

 

That is interesting. :yep In contrast, I'm probably without a doubt Kessler's biggest non-Dane fan (certainly his biggest non-Euro fan) and I have Pavlik as the more accomplished fighter at this moment...
