Khan-Bradley on the horizon

Good publicity - but not a hope in hell of happening.

 

This would be a match up of two young fighters with talent and a battle of wits between a man heralded as the top trainer in the world in Freddie Roach vs a very underrated trainer in Joel Diaz.

I take Bradley to beat and out muscle and out think Khan in a good high tempo fight.

 

Khan's rangyness may give Bradley problems, but Bradley is just as fast as Khan and can walk Khan down, pressure him and perhaps force the KO, interesting 1

 

Bradley has WAY too much for Khan at this point

 

i think khan has shown he has no power at world level in his last 2 fights,the stoppages he had are against feathers/superfeathers.

warren will not let khan fight bradley,its a no brainer really,its ok running away from a slow plodder or a one eyed feather,but from someone who is fast and has power,and both eyes,he will struggle.:good

 

IMVHO Bradley is potentially a future ATG and I also think he'd give Pacquiao more trouble than Cotto.

Everybody says he looks beatable, but he keeps on winning. He just does everything right. And it's worth pointing out he didn't just beat Witter, he took him to pieces, and was in the process of doing the same to Campbell.

 

He has way too much for Khan period. I dont understand all this "belief" that Khan gets. The kid has one talent fast hands and thats it. As a fighter he's amatuerish and soundly flawed.

 

ATG? Bradley is a decent fighter but future ATG? Not in the slightest.

25 years old, 25-0, unified champ, decent names on his record. The foundation and the potential is clearly there. He reminds me of a young Bernard Hopkins

 

Hope this fight happens but its unlikely to happen in their next two fights imo

 

An intesting arguement. Remind me what Bradley's KO % is again:think. Holt made the fight with Bradley very close and for this reason I think Khan can beat him if he can frustrate Bradley. Reach and height advantage can also be put to good use in this fight, IMO. I am also by no means a Khan 'nuthugger', this is just how I see the fight going:good. As for Khan having no power, it's not always a given. Look at Calderon- perfect example.

 

I don't think Khan could outbox Bradley.... given that he showed a willingness to walk down Witter - who punches much harder than Khan (in single shots) suggests he will drag Khan into a war.

Bradley just in general looks a solid fighter. Decent speed, decent footwork, respectable (though not concussive) power, decent chin - just 7-8/10 in all departments.

I posted on a thread a few weeks ago wondering if a Hopkins-type approach (ala the Calzaghe fight) would work against Khan - draw him forward. His flurries are sloppy and he ALWAYS leaves a hand lowish and is open to counter hooks. He boxes out of the orthodox style but still when firing away gets straight on..... counter straight rights and counter left hooks...

Or just blast him out?

Bradley will win, no doubt. Bradley can win on points too, he doesn't need a knockout like Kotelnik.
