So what? Its a sport where dudes trying to take each others heads off...you are expecting there be no KO losses? Lewis got knocked out twice in his carreer, so what does it mean, he is also ****? Israel Vazquez lost by TKO twice and retired on his stool once, does that mean he is a **** fighter whos got no heart? When is this ignorance going to stop? or is this just plain stupidity that can never be fixed?
LL dam well knew it. His handlers told him it was a close call and that was that. I still remember that huge uppercut he hit Vitali with and Vits head went flying back, he blinked and then walked forward Drago style. What a chin.
Well... personally I think that it would look worse if they were outboxed throughout an entire fight.
I use to check the general forum everytime after a major fight to see what people thought, etc. but not recently, after every major fight there seem to be only robberies, fighter becomes shot, or somebody is always exposed....
He got KO'ed by a "bum" in a kick boxing bout against a fighter who was also a pro boxer Pele Reid. Pele returned to boxing recently after a stint away from the sport.
To be fair, Lewis was 37 years old and seemed to sort of have lost interest in boxing after knocking out Mike Tyson. Under normal circumstances a rematch would've been called for, but Lewis has taken on all comers from 1992 and i think he earned the right to call it a day and retire with his faculties intact. Don't get me wrong: VK did deserve a rematch and probably would've won it, but at the same time, Lewis did win fair and square, even if controversially, and had earned the right to retire.
I dont call that fair and sqaure. LL won on a technicality. Great champions punctuate their wins. And by the time he fought Tyson the bout was insignificant and only happened because it was the largest purse in boxing history.
u can hate me all you want it still doesn't hide the fact that the klitchko brothers are world champs ..
