That David Reid sizes up quite well against Calzaghe's Lacy

It doesn't matter because Calzaghe's list of opponents is hardly a good list needless to say comparing him to Tito in ATG status shouldnt be up for discussion. Tito is way higher.

to be honest, the hype that david reid had around him was pretty substantial, almost to lacy levels. and i honestly think that reid had more substance; he wasn't going to be a world beater or atg but he had great skills going into the trinidad and jack **** going out

tito's opponents pre-hopkins are nearly at oscar levels; his resume is FANTASTIC and i can't think of any names at welter that could improve it

TBH I think Reid had star quality.

The fight with Tito came way to soon, and Felix ruined him.

I don't really care about popular opinion, Ottke had some skills (just not offensive - except jab). Mitchell did not beat Ottke imo. I think greatness is achieved by overcoming challenges, and Calzaghe was too calculating. He could have been much higher than he is, but could have, would have, should have does not cut it imo in comparison to what Trinidad achieved.
Just glad that he fought some live(r) bodies late in his career.
