yes dumb move, when the PBF fight would have been easier and made more money... however for once the hardcore fan who loves drama and action will be rewarded.

Not really. Floyd didn't want him right off the hiatus, Mosley is very dangerous to Manny, and nobody else makes Manny the same amount of money.

i don't. i honestly worry for cotto just in terms of style, i think this is a bad fit for him. pac knows what he's doing. roach does to and picked this fight for a reason

It was smart Roach sees Cotto as the most beatable out of Mayweather and Mosley i feel even though Roach calls Mosley overrated and says Cotto is better because he beat Mosley.
In reality Roach knows that Mosley is a nightmare for Pac and Mayweather will most likely never happen because of Arum and Floyd's hate for each other. Cotto was the logical choice in Roach's view he looked vulnerable in the Clottey fight and is the most vulnerable out of the three, and Roach is banking on this by putting Pac in the ring with him.
In the end i think Cotto will defeat PAC but that does not change the fact that Roach's ultimate vision is within his grasp.
And that is to get the 7th title and have Pac retire and possibly run for office i really do believe this will be Pac's last fight if he win's.

Maybe..... we'll find out november 14, but Pacman sure as hell isnt getting any credit for taking on such a beast like Cotto.

i wouldn't go THAT far but yeah, the clottey fight exposed a lot of weaknesses, new and old, that pac will exploit with violent intentions

    no....

i think arum did this to up the anti on floyd mayweather... he knows that whoever wins the fight will get fmj next.... if pacman wins it will be easier to negotiate a bigger piece of the pie... if cotto wins it just makes him automatically on deck to fight fmj

to me thats all its about

That's great for Manny, heh?.... If he somehow manages to beat Cotto, it'll only be because Miguel was shot.

    Sexy.

Is this a serious post? Way to form an opinion of your own instead of just repeating what Freddie Roach had to say..
