I think this would be a close one. Pavlik may have lost a bit of heart but he's still heavy handed. Froch is strong but looked slow at times against Taylor. Who would come out on top?

I'd go with Froch on size advantage. It should be a hell of a fight while it lasts though

    Froch wins

Pavlik comes forward too directly and in a slugging match I reckon Froch takes it

Well I dunno how much Pavlik has lost since the Hopkins beating, but judging by the way they both dealt with a common opponent I'd go with Pavlik by decision. Taylor outboxed Froch then gassed, Pavlik outboxed/outworked Taylor in their 2nd fight. Pavlik won't gas and should outwork Froch with his long straight punches that should also stun Froch enough to keep him at bay.

Well Froch hits harder in my opinion and has a better chin. So Froch

Pavlik by knockout. Froch has a good chin but it's a little overrated. Pavlik wouldn't miss with that right hand. No way Froch eats those right hands for 12 rounds without being stopped.

Froch by KO, Pavlik wouldn't carry his power up to 168 and above, based on the Hopkins fight he comes in straight directions and froch couldn't possibly miss.

How does he not carry up his power at 168? He didn't even touch Hopkins how can you predict that?

I don't believe this nonsense about "not carrying power up". How can a man suddenly lose his punching power by weighing 8 lbs more? Silly idea.

There is as much chance of this happening as one of the who would win a prime ali v prime tyson threads! But if it did i'd go for Froch all day.

This wold be a great clash of styles, i see Froch and Kelly being a foty candidate.

Id side with Carl Froch as he carries the weight better. Hed hav to shift some punishment but i can see his durability pullin through. Froch TKO 10.

He didn't exactly look like the Pavlik that sits at middleweight did he? even if it was against hopkins?
