But not more power. Credibility doesn't win fights...JT didn't have much cred anyway..Everybody KNEW he would gass-out soon as he had Froch hurt. Even the announcers saw it coming.
You better look again. JT doesn't punch harder than Dirrell. JT couldn't even stop Spinks..a WW that ZAB JUDAH ko'd:rofl:rofl
Its the same old story as soon as many ESB members don't get the out-come you were predicting before the fight actually happened. The fact you say that 'every-one' knew that he would gass out as soon as he had Froch hurt is absurd considering you make the call one way or the other. As for Dirrell punching harder than Taylor, granted Taylor is a some-what blown up middleweight with feather fisted punches at the elite level, where is the proof that Dirrell is anything more than a KO artist against Tomato cans? he hasn't exactly fought the best out there yet has he? Just for the record, dont tell me you saw what froch did to JT coming cause thats bollocks. :good
Everybody saw it coming dude..:deal JT gassed-out the same why against Pavlik. When he gets a guy hurt he doesn't have the STANIMA to finish him. JT couldn't even stop COREY SPINKS:hi: Zab Judah DESTROYED him. Taylor couldn't lay a glove on Spinks,,but he had Froch READY TO GO..that outta tell you something about Froch's skills.
Froch's defensive skills are limited, but that knock-down didn't have Froch 'ready-to-go' as you put it. For a start it was clear as day Froch had a bit of stage fright in the beginning of the fight, his chins been tested against Pascal who threw the kitchen sink at Froch and couldn't get anywhere, i thought this forum had come to terms with the fact that Froch's chin was in fact solid and his recovery powers even more so?
Soon as Froch got off the canvas everybody in the Western hemisphere knew JT's goose was cooked. I like the Cobra. If he wins the whole thing I'd be happy for him. I like his spirit and willingness to take his belt to the US when could have been a ***** like Calzhage.
Im not questioning your bias towards/against him, i just think some of your points dont match up with what actually happened. Going in to that fight a lot of people were saying Taylor was going to be too seasoned and too slick for froch, everyone knows about Taylors stamina issues but who in the world could really have predicted 20 or so unanswered punches and a fantastic knock-down in the last round of a hard fought 12 rounder? it was a gruelling fight and no wonder Taylor was flat out ****ed by the 12th.
and he still hasnt. he put Froch on the canvas, thats all. He got back up and we all know what happened with the rest of fight. i along with a lot of the brit posters dont know much about direll but going on his apparent skills i will say it is one thing having the skills and technique to beat froch but a whole other one utilizing them.
Al Bernstein was calling the fight and he predicted right down a tee what would happen. When Foch got off the floor everybody watching the fight said "UH OHH"
Froch KO you know it makes sense. Dirrell got badly stunned by Hanshaw so I dont see how he can live with Froch's power.
