    Jermain was easily beating Froch for the majority of the fight but gased out and couldent hold on for 16 more seconds of the final round,Pavlik has a better chin and way more power then Taylor,If Jermain gave Froch Trouble,then Kelly will give Froch HELL,and also Kelly can go 12 rounds without breaking out a sweat,He has never gassed out in a fight,I see Kelly winning by UD

    jesus...i know pavlik lost some luster after the bhop fight...but christ....this is carl froch...im stunned by the number of froch predictions ive read already...must be alot of brits in this thread

    Froch by Brutal KO I think Pavlik was ruined mentally by the BHOP lost and I have heard reports of him doing a Hatton and hitting the bottle.

    The truth is if Pavlik had the balls he could have got himself in the super 6 and we'd find out. His absence says it all.

    well i think thats unfair. he clearly wants to fight at middleweight. he wanted to fight hopkins so he moved up once. and got a taylor rematch to sort out the controversy. taylor and hopkins are the 2 lineal middlweight champs, he wanted to proove his claim...

    abe has been fighting at 160 for longer and when he demolished miranda a division up it made a bit of sense. to drop the belt and fight the top notch.

    another 2 years at most and i think pavlik would be at 168.



    i think froch could take it. pavlik has a better workrate but froch's jab,lateral movement and accuracy i think could get it done. rigth hand over pavlisk left jab might be the starter.

    They both hit hard but froch has the better chin imo therefor he would beat pavlik by late tko.

    I like the idea of this fight. Froch would make Pavlik look like the ******* love child of Willie Pep and Godzilla. Pavlik KO3 Froch.

    better chin. They both were almost stopped by Taylor so how do you decide who has the better chin. Pavlik looked a lot better against an undefeated Taylor IMO.

    Not sure because of the weight. I think i would pick Pavlik. technically better and as much power IMO.

    Pavlik aint look so good in the 2 fights he had above 160 but...

    i'd still favor him over Froch.....he's just a punching machine, they're aren't too many that can trade with Kelly for 12 straight and get the best of him, plus he throws the straight punches is the far more technically sound of the 2

    so yeah i think Pavlik would take this one

    1. Pavlik wasn't invited, it wasn't Pavlik's fault (at least not directly) and even if he would've been invited and would've decided not to join the tournament, because of too less money to earn, it wouldn't say anything about his balls. Pavlik is a tough mofo for sure, he isn't scared to fight good fighters.
    2. Pavlik by KO or UD, most likely by KO
