Manny started his pro career at 106, so I'd say he's been facing "bigger" guys for a while now as he's moved up the weight classes. If you want to get technical on the 15-20 lbs, Floyd's only fought four guys that might have covered his weight by that much, Oscar, Baldomir, Gatti, and Corrales. I think Pac has the skills for that crew. We'll see if he has the skills for one of the top Welters that Floyd seemingly wants to dodge in Cotto, who will outweigh him by that margin and is by far better than those fighters listed when Floyd fought them.

And ultimately, Floyd's statements are just empty words until the fights get made, which by most accounts is more on him than his opponents. He could have made any one of three fights that everybody wanted to see in matching up with Pacquaio, Cotto, or Mosley as his comeback fight but he didn't. He's demanding more than a 50/50 split with Pac for that fight to get made which is ridiculous, especially with the reasons he's given thus far. He's dismissed Mosley as an opponent in interviews, saying that Shane had his chance to fight him and has losses(which never stopped Floyd from facing worse opponents), but doesn't mind talking about how he'd be easy work without showing interest in facing him. And he's talked about how he was going to punish Oscar and leave the blood, sweat, and tears in the ring against Baldomir, both of which were potshotting fests. In a nutshell, Floyd has yet to really back up his words on any consistent basis.

Damn, I bet if Pac had 10 oz. gloves vs. Hatton he might have lost! Could have been a rough night, good point Floyd! Genius! On the other hand if PBF's gloves were 2 oz. less, he'd have swatted Hatton like a Fly, not taken the whole fight to do it! Makes sense now. He's WAY better than Pac! Ownage!

And so what? That's just some bull**** excuse Floyd fans use to justify him ducking people. Not every fighter is a trashy **** talker like Floyd. The best fights should be made regardless.

Ownage your ass! This is the reason dude.

"The fact that they will be welterweights wearing 10-ounce gloves as opposed to 140-pounders wearing eight-ouncers will bode well for Mayweather because of the extra padding that will protect his brittle hands while softening the impact of Hatton's punches."

Next time, do your homework and dont talk BS.

Floyd won titles in 5 weight classes. Floyd started at a weight that best suited his body. So you cant knock him for not starting any smaller.

FLoyd knocked out undefeated Diego Corralles, how many undefeated fighters have Pac faced and defeared of merit?

Last time I checked Morralles beat Pac in the 1st fight.
