What prices you get for those bets??

    Floyd was 4/7 in Britain.

Was it not something like 1/3 1/4 over there?

****in loonie tunes over there, it does my head in what with this "over" & "under" betting, it was mobbed manic on the sat, i got a yank mate 2 stick it up for me as i did'nt want too queue that long & went back 2 the Zuri bar, he was gone near on a hour, no on fight day it leapt all over the shop driving the punters nuts as the queue's were that long.

It was 1/2.9 if past 11,1/2 rounds something weird like that & something like 1/1.9 decision, the yanks go down too % points, but these prices were just after all the last minute pissed up brits really piled in, I know my yank mate was happy as they were all holding places in the queue's for each other & counting brit heads in the book & letting them go first:lol: but it shot back out too 1/2.5 maybe 1/3 with about 15 min too go so i've been told.

Anyway i was steaming from this 5 day 24 hour bender & got 2.9/1 for floyd to win by KO, i've no idea what the prices were for the 1/4, 5/8, 9/12 but it was absolute ****in mayhem there, no one really had a clue what they were betting on, but i'll never forget the yank punters head counting & shouting out 2 each other WAIT WAIT:smoke

Well I'm glad I'm not the only ****er who can't get his head around American betting. The decimal odds are a PITA and the 'over' and 'under'....:patsch

Have we come to the inevitable conclusion that Hatton is an idiot?

    Either one.

A title that was very popular amonsgt Warren SN fighters in the early 2000's. Warren used it as a guise for World Title fights on SKY Sports. Ricky actually counts it as a "World Title".

Anyway they were an organisation ran from a cottage in Norwich. From what i recall the owner died and it was sold on. It isnt that popular these days but it enabled fighters like Lockett Hatton Enzo Farnell Takaloo etc to make a very decent living of it. Matter of fact they even had Inter-continental and an International belt. Not entirely sure as they had no ranking system. Any Polish cab driver could be your mandatory. Ricky knows he fought 15 of them.

Hatton is an ignorant, deluded fool.
This from the man who made about 15 defences of the WBU trinket. Yeah, dead good for the sport.
    ****ing *****.

only in boxing... i doubt any other sport would allow someone to set up a world title on a whim

its ok. i don't recognize the WBA so i'm not going to recognize the WBU based on what i've heard

**** off urself old boy........he can say what he wants.......and has evidence to boot.

Please please can i interview the hatton hypeman for some major media outlet and school him as he loves to spout **** to mass media who have no clue.

    me
'So how do you feel about the sport'

    Wicky
'Well the sport is dead, fighters dont want to fight each other, look at me wicky hatton i went over twice to America to fight in there backyard for the chance to win the title of being the best boxer ever, i mean i could have stayed at home and been a legend but i want to risk it'

    me
'The best boxer ever?....you mean pound for pound right?'

    wicky
' oh yeah yeah you know what i mean best boxer on the planet'

    me
'It is a made up tag though.......i mean pound for pound what does that really mean? Surely a fighter who is light and really fast might lose that speed when he goes up in weight, in fact if you did a scientific study you would probably find that pound for pound could not be validated.'

    wicky
'Er well it means your the best boxer on the planet'

    me
    'Subjective thought isnt it?'

    wicky
'errr, errmmmmm well wicky hatton takes risks and fights for the title of being the best in the world'

    me
'Pardon? I dont quite understand your response......i said the pound for pound debate is subjective without any real answers.....in reality one should just fight in the ring and see who is better right'

    wicky
' right, thats what i said, anyhow i dont think you find manny boxers thats done what wicky hatton has done after all im a 5 time champion, in 2 weight divisions and succesfully defended my belt 15 times.......more than Marvin Hagler did you know'

    me
' You defended the 140 title 15 times?

    wicky
'yeah, well i was champion of the 140 with the belt thing'

    me
' Ricky the WBU belt dosent count, its a made up belt'

    wicky
'sorry but how can something be made up when i had it round my wait'

    me
'No we arent talking science here.......just the obvious.....the WBU is a made up belt where the belt holder claims to be the best in the world.....hence the world champ......we cant count that me old mucka.

    wicky
'Well i only a little boy from manchester, wicky hatton never thought he do what he done'

    me
'Oh without doubt, you became a decent champion at 140 and you were hugely popular, you were marketed well.'

    wicky
'Yeah, well anyhow boxing is dying i mean the best dont want to fight the best.'

    me
    Junior Witter?

    Wicky
' He couldnt draw flies to be fair, and i was fighting the best fighters ever whilst he didnt do anything. He lost recently which proves it.

    me
'Well 99 per cent of the experts and hardcore fan thought he was your biggest rival' In fact he gets a bad rap.......he fought Zab Judah in his 17th fight and the likes of T. Bradley and Alexander are his only other losses....both coming at the age of 34 and 35. Do you honestly believe you would have beaten Zab Judah in your 17th fight and been able to beat Bradley and Alexander when your 34 and 35 especially considering that most of your biggest fans are saying that your past it now at the age of 30?'

    wicky
'Er well it didnt make sense at the time anyhow.....i accomplished alot more than him.'

    me
'Without doubt......you became the main man at 140 and did ok but like i said you had great marketing behind you, good managers who guided you well, id say your the same level as Junior Witter.......an average world level operator which is nothing to sneeze at......the one thing you had over Witter is fame, and accomplishments but you are deffo on the same level when it comes to fighting.'

The one of ricky hatton assistents quickly ends the interview.
