I just dont see how he can already be talking about mayweather like this will be a walkover fight. This doesnt make sense to me, Cotto (while he doesnt have what he once did) is STILL A VERY GOOD BOXER with alot of power behind his punch.
I have pac winning, but I could easily see this one turning into cotto's fight. He is such a good counter puncher, and we really havnt seen pac take a punch at the 140 weight.
It will be a war either way, cant wait, but I think pac and roach should cut the **** and focus mainly on cotto. Hell, if it werent for the margarito/clottey fight people would be talking as if pac was off to the gallows.

Pacquiao doesn't overlook anyone. Their talks of a possible Mayweather fight is because the media constantly bring that up.

Pac just answers the questions of the media. He doesn't choose the topics of discussion

Roach is the mouth, Pac mostly mind's his business and concentrate's on the task ahead of him.

I expect Cotto to bring his "A" game. He will be better conditioned and have a better fight plan for Manny Pacquiao.

The only thing that Cotto had SLIGHLTY less of coming off the Margarito fight was SLIGHTLY less confidence. That's it. Cotto is now back to where he was when he fought Judah - ONLY BETTER.

    CLOTTEY IS A GOOD FIGHTER.

That seems like a difficult concept for some people..

they dont realize how TOUGH Clottey is and Cotto had a cut no less, Hattons face first style has made Pac look invincible Manny has a real possibility of being handled its really a 50/50 fight.

Well put. I don't know why people expected Cotto to absolutely dominate Clottey. As if Clottey is a bum or something. He did beat him with one-and-a-half eye, and now here we are talking about how Cotto "doesn't have it anymore".

    Makes you wonder.

this is a tough fight for pac. Cotto is an excellent fighter, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Cotto stop Pac.

I'm one of the guys that dont think Cotto's any worse now than before the Maragrito fight. I dont know what you other guys see. No one ever looks good fighting Clottey.

I hope Pac aint overlookin him , though it seems a lot like he is. They think he's finished, well Roach thinks and says that.

I want him to come in 100% and fully prepared so Cotto can KTFO him. i dont mind pacquiao I just dont wanna have to hear about catchweights anymore. Mosley,Cotto and Floyd are WW's and there'll fight there. Pacquaio wont, which complicates things. If he's happy 2 fight at either 140 or 147 im happy. As long as he brings this catchweight bull**** Im rooting for Cotto by brutal KO

yup. i have to keep saying this: cotto is no less of a fighter and is no worse than he ever was. he is actually far better because that loss made him much smarter. he doesn't just go out gung ho and look for the kill all the time now. the clottey fight was a terrible thing to judge by. a gnarly gash against a REALLY solid WW and he still warred it out and won the fight.

In another thread I said I think these two have different motives for this fight. Pac THINKS he's poaching a title off a guy who is on the down hill side. Cotto thinks "**** you all! Watch This!" That's my impression.

I also think people under rate both Margarito and Clottey. Cotto beat Shane, and he beat Clottey with one eye. That leaves him 2-1 against the best welterweights in the world. Pac best not under estimate him.

Pacquiao should win by mid to late round stoppage. Cotto is as tough as they come and won't quit.
