Yes, definately. Pacquiao has given me some indelible images. The wild, euphoric, excited, free, alive expression on his face after the first real surge by Marquez in their first fight is something I'll never forget. Adversity opens his heart. Manny Pacquiao is a boxing god, and I kneel before him accordingly.
It's certainly important to distinguish fans from fanatics (even though, technically, the former is etymologically derived from the latter :yep). I'd call myself a Pac fan (even though I refuse to give him either Marquez fight) but nowhere near a fanatic.
What are you talking about? The man is a saint in this forum. He can do no wrong. Take a look at the polls.
Yes I am . . . and I often root for him. But I'm also a fan of almost all fighters . . . except Floyd and Hayes. I consider these two fighters skilled but the in and out of the ring antics and behaviour is preventing me from admiring them.
Yes, I am a fan of MP but I always bet against him and I have lost a lot of $$$. I still love him though.
I am a fan, but that doesn't mean I haven't rooted against him in the past and won't root against him in the future. I thought Marquez beat him both times they fought and I am quite sure that Floyd will beat him if they ever fight. I was laughing my ass off having a ball when he beat DLH and Hatton.
I find Pac to be compelling from how he trains to how he performs. He's a machine and every time he fights he is must see t.v. (option 1)
I am, in the sense that he's good for the sport. I'm no nuthugger but even me, as a die hard boxing fan, am interested in his fights. I want to see how he'll handle the next big, obstacle.
