Probably. But most "experts" gave Pacman no chance against DLH. Then in the Hatton fight, most "experts" picked Pacman but also realized that Hatton would not be some weight drained, 35 year old man fighting out of his ideal weight. He was the legit, lineal 140 champ. Pacman takes on big challenges all the time. What will happen if he beats Cotto? What excuses will form? I guess conquering big challenges is what will make Pacman a possible top 20 ATG after beating Cotto.
Actually, he should be fighting as a superwelter. He jumps two dvisions after weigh-in ala Gatti vs. Gamache to a middleweight.
Anyone that says NO should lose all cred on the site....You can say that MAB, Morelas, Oscar are greater over-all fighters, but at the point in which Pac faced them they were all shells of what they once were. Cotto is by far the most dangerous fighter that Pac has faced, and I believe that its also the first time in one of Pac MAJOR fights that he is also the older fighter. Its like saying that fighting Roy Jones Jr right now is more dangerous then fighting in the Super tourny, to say that those old dude are more dangerous to Pac then Cotto is.
The kind were he doesnt want to anwser the question...Plus I just love how Pac has turned into Pep+Whitaker with a side of Tyson thrown in all of a sudden..Pac is not hard to hit, and cotto will hit him plenty.
Is Cotto the most dangerous fighter Pac ever face? :think Possibly, when you take the size into account. Morales however, is the greatest fighter on Pacquiao`s record in a p4p sense, no doubt... no-one ever handled a Roach-trained Pac like Erik did in their 05 bout.
Yes, I feel. Just rewatched Cotto-Judah yesterday. Sheesh.. Rugged, borderline dirty, heavy hitting, bigger guy with good handspeed and activity.
Wrong. All 3 are superior skillwise to Cotto & would give him an ass raping if they were the same weight & all at their peak.
I have only seen this fight once, and that was at the time they fought.... Did Cotto hit Judah intentionally (low)??? I think this is the big question.... When I saw it the first time live it look like he did..... I would like to watch it again..... Anyway, nice to see you posting again....:good
Hey. Same to you. Well, I couldnt say for certain that the low blows were on purpose, but maybe I'm being influenced by the Tito Trinidad-PR reputation of those "well timed" borderline/blatant low punches when he ws still fighting.
JMM was the most dangerous fighter that Pac's ever faced. I'd be more worried if he were facing JMM for the trifecta than this upcoming fight with Cotto.
