    here's the vid
    http://www.videos.fightstrike.com/view/152/ufc-101-sliva-destroys-griffin/

The only other guy that comes to mind is probably Tim Sylvia...But damn ! How ****ing stupid is that guy ?... he's getting schooled in ther striking department in a matter of seconds...

You'd think that he'd try something else...At least try a takedown..take the fight on the ****ing ground or block your opponent on the fence...use the ****ing clinch...or something !...

But..Nooooooo...He persists , and keeps coming forward , trying to outstrike Anderson...

Anyway congrats to Anderson but that was pathetic...

C'mon Boxingcar is anyone truly surprised here? Silva is an exceptional and precise striker. Some even picked Griffin purely because of the apparent "size" differential. Bottom line this is a sport of skill. Griffin has none. He's just a poster boy for the brand.

Anyway Silva is soo advanced as a fighter i believe he was actually trying out new boxing techniques in there. He was able to do that because Griffin was his opponent.

Yeah, I also though he would have went for takedowns. He didn't even try for one!

silva is an example of how the small mma gloves REALLY helps striking power. no way punches like that should ko someone.

I can understand why he didn't, personally. The gulf in class in their BJJ was probably just as wide as with the striking. Forrest really had no chance in that fight.

and that's precisely why this dumbass should've tried something else...But he never even bothered to. What the hell is wrong with these people ? Why are they always trying to beat fighters at what they do best ? To make a statement ? prove a point ? ...Ok , but when you're not capable to handle it..just move on to something else ffs !

    (anderson's bjj is superior to griffin's anyway though.....but still....at least try ! )

I was really surprised by that fight. I thought Griffin would not only push him harder but I thought Griffin had a chance of winning.

Oh my... :patsch, what a beautiful "ugly" fight that was.

I never thought that Griffin would stand with probably the best striker in the game. He should have gone for the takedown because that way he had a chance. Fighting like he did, his size advantage was no advantage.

Size means nothing. This is a sport of skill.

With all things equal, if someone is bigger then they have the advantage and should win.

Of course size means something. It's what you do with it that counts.

Ever heard the phrase "knocked stupid"?

He didn't go in their with the plan of running into punches, he got dropped once and never recovered mentally. He went out their, felt him out a little, got nervous when Silva caught a leg kick, was a little gunshy, then Silva came in with a right hook that dropped him and it was all downhill.
