But with noone really jumping to buy the fight...plus the fact that Timothy was clearly controlling the fight. Think about it, who do we see fading more over 12, the young lion who has some of the best stamina in the game or the older guy fighting at a new weight for the first time at 38? And that there are bigger names, title fights, more money out there to get agaisnt other, you really want him to just go and shut Campbell out again?

Because can you honestly watch those three rounds and think that an even older Campbell would stand a snowballs chance in hell in a rematch??? It would be a waste of both of their times, our time and Showtime's money. I actually applaud Bradley for wanting to go fight a big name in THEIR BACKYARD AGAIN, rather than a waste of time rematch!!! The kid has no fear!!!

 

That's not how boxing works. Campbell was getting worked over in that fight. Right now, Bradley has Peterson due up as a mando, and some good potential unification fights. Why the hell would he take a paycut, and potentially get stripped of his title(which would further damage his earning potential) just to rematch a damn near 40 year old fighter who looked every bit his age in their fight? Does this make sense to you?

 

True but if you were beating Jordan when he twisted his ankle a little tiny bit then made a huge deal out of it becasue he wanted to save himself the humiliation of the loss , you would still celebrate would you not ? I know I would.

to be honest though I like Bradley and he was hammering Campbell, I could watch him finish it off before his next fight.

Y know i was reading this in Boxing Monthly , Khan is a "world champ" now but isnt ready for guys like Bradley , Maidan etc ?

I mean i wanted Khan to win but it makes it so ****ing clear why people are leaving boxing in droves when you have a guy who can calim to be the best in the world athis weight ( he is a WORLD CHAMPION ) saying he's not ready for some guys ???? its madness. ( sorry its off Topic a bit ! )

What do you expect Bradley to do? Fight him on Versus for 100k and get stripped for not fighting his mando? A rematch with Campbell makes about zero sense, as it would be at the very least, a carbon copy of the first.

Normally when a fight should have been a NC, I agree, you make a rematch. But when the powers that be probably wont buy the rematch...the fighter who got hurt causing the "NC" was getting his ass kicked...and there are bigger names, better fights, more titles and more money elsewhere. I have no problem with Bradley saying he wants to go in other directions.

Nate didnt have a chance in hell of winning that fight regardless.

and stop pretending that bradly purposely placed that butt there, they BOTH led in with their heads and clashed.

however, just to shut Nate up, Bradly should tie a pillow around his forehead and do in a second fight what he didnt get the oppertunity to do in the first one. . .

Juan Diaz said that halfway through his fight with Nate, he couldnt see because of his cut...that ironically was caused by a butt from Nate. Noone says Campbell should have given him a rematch. In fact, that is the fight Nate made his name off of in all honesty (we all knew who Nate was before, but did the casual fan???).

Did Nate come out and fight for a NC or a rematch with Juan? Is that disrespect?

Bradley said he will fight him again if the money is right...but if Showtime doesnt want it...what is the point?

And speaking on respect...Nate is going around saying Bradley butted him throughout the fight, when the replays all show that it was CLEARLY an unintentional butt (as were the earlier ones) caused by one fighter coming forward with his head and the other coming downward with his. In fact Nate himself called it unintentional post fight.

Why not call Campbell out on that as well?
