According to Steward, if Cotto hires him as his trainer, he will KO Pac. So is Steward just trying to get work, or can he give Cotto the tools he needs to get the job done? http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/th...0/manny_steward_says_miguel_cotto_lo_noqueará
No, it would be a huge mistake. You don't make major changes to a fighter going into the biggest fight of his career. If Cotto's gonna hire Steward they need to have at least one fight together against a crappy opponent to get comfortable with each other.
cotto is going to get knocked out. hes not in ny with hise hometown judges, promoters, and refs. top rank is picking the fruit from cotto and throwing him in the sacrafice. because if anyone on here honeslty thinks cotto beat clottey or mosely needs to have their head checked. he runs, throws low blows when hes about to get rocked, runs some more, runs without throwing, and somehow wins. bet pacquio by KO.
Okay -- Cotto can win by KO if he hires Andy Lee's trainer; same guy that turned JT from a guy who could beat Hopkins into a guy who struggled with Spinks. Makes sense to meatsch
Dude if Mosley said Cotto won the fight what more do you want. The Clottey fight was another close fight that could have went either way just like Pac vs JMM 1-2. Runs without throwing you either did not watch the fights or you have a problem with being objective.
Yeah... totally must have been Stewards fault... the way he got Wlad to run out of gas and not defend himself, definitely too early for Wlad to grasp that technique and pull it off successfully.
Cotto is working with his former nutritionist as his chief trainer now, it certainly wouldn't be any worse if Manny Steward got on board. The guy is an institution in boxing, he can only help Cotto's game.
Much rather he hired Enzo Calzaghe Imagine the talks in between rounds - neither guy can speak English
