Now having never seen this Kirby fella before, I shouldn't comment, but isn't this a step backwards for Botha? He beat Timo Hoffman last time out (granted a much lesser version of Hoffman than what we are used to) and this just doesn't seem to be a step forward for Botha imho. Any thoughts?

 

Could be. Even as a tune-up though, he is virtually a no name to most of the world. I good tune-up would be a Taurus Sykes type opponent or something. This type of opponent (Kirby) just doesn't seem right to me. But who knows?...

 

I tend to agree, but unless he gets himself in much better shape, I don't think he is yet ready for a Brewster. I think he should go back to pursuing that cowardly Solis.

 

Let Golota get a win under his belt and shake some rust off, the he and Botha go at it.
