Berto and margarito would not do a thing for pacquiaos resume if he beats mayweather, cotto and mosley. The other thing is the manner of those victories. What if he convincingly beats them by UD or KO?

How about SRR beat around 12 HOFs and won the MW title with one punch against a man who was never stopped(Gene Fullmer). His credentials are WAYYYYYYYY past Manny's. This is before hand-picked glory (ala dead Oscar, David Diaz, etc.), these guys earned their places in the patheon of greatness.

Well, SRR is considered the greatest by many right? How about a top 5 ATG rating?

This is where it becomes about semantics and a little bit of subjectivity, A Top 5 would have to include SRR, Greb, Amstrong, Ali, Langford(guys like Pep, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis can be put there as well); Manny with those afroementioned victories can be considered Top 5 without a doubt but the Top 3 is serious business though.

Even he beat Cotto and maintains his profession tragectory for another two full years he could end up top 15. Throw a win over Pavlik in there, he's top 10 without doubt.

If he wants to be number one then he should fight at the HEAVY WEIGHT DIVISION! Fight Valuev or someone big. No catch weight!! haha

Really no fighter right now is on that path imo. This Manny **** is just really being taking to far. The guy was never considered to be P4p 1 due to his fights. He didn't achieve that status until May retired and now we are talking about what he has to do to be the best ever just crazy.

definately not by retiring. If he fights for another 5-6 years fighting mega-fights at the rate he's taking them now, and winning them the way he has been as of late, he can achieve this.

There were already a few fans that thinks that Pacquiao is the #1 P4P when Mayweather had the title. The probable reason for this is because Mayweather's style is not as friendly as Pacquiao. Not to mention that Mayweather inherited his former status from the former #1 as well.

Where would you rank Pac currently? He has to be around the top 20? I would also have Mayweather in the top 20

    i rate him extremely high.
but i'm as confused as hell over this cotto fight..
making him do 145 has spoiled it for me...i know there has been arguments for and against, and i have listened to roaches argument...but still, it makes it a flawed fight for me....just cant get my head round if he beats cotto will he have beaten the real cotto...let the man do his 147 and leave no questions unanswered.
