War of words between Maloney and Tyson Fury

This is how it started off:

Tyson said:

"It will make a nice change for Frank Maloney to finally have a decent heavyweight on one of his shows,"

"I've watched some of the big lumps he's had on his shows recently and it's like watching Dumbo on Ice - they can barely stand upright, let alone throw punches."

"To be fair to John McDermott, he's the best of a bad lot with Maloney's heavyweights and, thankfully for him, he can fight a lot better than he looks."
"I might talk the talk but I walk the walk as well and I'll prove that against McDermott."

"Maloney obviously believes that McDermott can beat me, but I think that just proves what I said before - what Maloney knows about heavyweights could be tattooed on the back of my big toe."

Then Maloney came back with:

"Perhaps Fury had a hard spar that day when he made those comments, and I'll forgive him if he did. I would say my track record with heavyweights is better than anybody in British boxing. My work with Lennox Lewis is there for all to see and I helped discover Nikolai Valuev and John Ruiz - one great world champion and two decent ones.."

"They aren't bad fighters to have on your bills. Let's be honest Fury wouldn't have been allowed in the same city as Lennox, let alone ring!"

"Domestically I got Julius Francis paydays, Fury can only dream of. I wonder if Tyson's connections will do the same."

"Fury should worry for the future, because it is rumoured Mick will lose his TV deal at the end of the year.

"And if Mick had such belief in him, why did he get blown out of the water by me in the purse bids for this fight?"

"Fury and Mick are quick to tell the world he is the greatest heavyweight hope in the world, but he obviously can't be that valued because he is the away fighter in his first title fight."

"Before Tyson starts telling everyone he is the best, he wants to prove he is the top heavyweight in the north-west."

"Didn't David Price school him as an amateur or am I suffering from amnesia?"

Now Fury has said this:

"Coming from Maloney I think calling me a 'rent a quote motor mouth' is a bit rich. That's essentially what he was for Lennox Lewis. In my opinion Maloney's role with Lennox was little more than a court jester. He was basically a mouth in a Union Jack suit running around embarrassing himself like some kind of over excited novelty mascot."

"Lennox Lewis was a great fighter and was destined for greatness regardless of who was involved with him. In my opinion it was a case of him being in the right place at the right time, my pet dog could have done what Maloney did for Lewis and he's blind and only has three legs."

"As for talking about Ruiz and Valuev if Maloney is such a heavyweight expert how come his involvement with them stopped long before they ever got near the heavyweight title? Claiming those two fighters is in my opinion even worse than what he has claimed to have done for David Haye's career except that for some reason I never hear David giving him too much credit."

"He's not getting any better either. He made a big fuss at the start of the year about signing three big heavyweights and he's already got two of them beaten. He said Scott Belshaw was going to be the next George Foreman and the richest athlete on the planet. He must have meant the richest athlete on whatever planet Maloney's living on because I blew Belshaw away inside 2 rounds."

"He signed another big guy from Sheffield called Dave Howe to a 3 year contract and he got knocked out in less than a minute by Dave Ingleby, a guy who's not even allowed to spar with me."

Yeah don't know how on earth King can call anybody else mental when he is as mad as a box of frogs himself. And absolutely love the avatar.

I think Fury was rather harsh on Maloney.

Agree with everything and more on McDermott though.

Even though he's a total ****... I can't help but love Tyson Fury. He's hilarious, can't think of many other boxers who have entertained me the way he does.

(how long before someone posts a vid of him punching himself in the face?)
