When Witter-Alexander and Froch-Taylor don't get shown live do you think a fight like Jones-Lacy will get shown?

I doubt even Setanta would have shown it, it's a nothing fight really.

Espan are really missing a golden opportunity here. Say what yo like but Setanta was getting major kudos for boxing and gradually gaining alot of respect & trade - I had 3 people at work take up subscriptions for boxing based on what I was talking about.

Rome wasn't built in a day but there's money to be made in boxing & ESPN just need to take a risk. After all if no other UK broadcaster is chasing the fights why can't they pick it up cheaply? SOME UK revenue is better than ZERO UK revenue isn't it? Think business. Ofc a promoter will sell i for peanuts if no one else in that coutry wants it.

I hate it break it to you, but his dad was in his corner for Tarver III. That's not the change anyone is looking for.

It's not on HBO PPV - it's an independent PPV here in the States so there might be a chance that ESPN picks it up. ESPN will be showing Jones and Lacy fights during the week on ESPN Classic so it would make sense for them to pick it up in the UK.

Well when the time comes the search for a streaming feed will begin. Not a chance people are going to pay 35 bucks stateside for this fight, but hopefully someone will be streaming it live.

ESPN in the UK is not the same as ESPN in the US. The US broadcaster has no impact on who could purchase the UK broadcast rights.
