Roach "We will make more than twice as much money fighting Cotto than Mosley"

    Roach on why he thinks Pac told Arum to make the Cotto fight:

    "Well, that’s not necessarily so. He said he would fight Cotto after watching Cotto fight Clottey in the Garden. Manny has always wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. The Mayweather fight got delayed because of injury and Manny needed a fight around year’s end. After watching the fight Manny told Arum that he could beat Cotto. He never ask Arum to go get Cotto, he still wanted Mayweather first."

    Roach's response to if Pac would go into politics if he defeated Cotto and Mayweather:

    "Possibly, but Shane Mosley is doing a lot of talking and I want to see that fight happen. Manny has said three more fights and that’s it."

    When asked why Pac chose Cotto over Mosley:

    "It wasn’t Manny’s decision. It was my decision and the group’s decision. The main reason? We will make more than twice as much money fighting Cotto than Mosley."

    Roach's response to if he really believes that Pac would KO Mayweather:

    "You know that I’m just trying to make the fight happen. Mayweather is a great fighter and champion but I’m sure that Manny will beat him. At the higher weight I just don’t see him as a great fighter. At 134 lbs. yes he was a great fighter."

    He would make twice the money and he got twice as good a chance to beat Cotto than Shane.:yep

    Mosley

    ????? Those are Pacs next three fights????

    That would be completely amazing..... that would be stuff of legends.

    Having fought MAB, MORALES, JMM
    and COTTO, MOSLEY, MAYWEATHER

    wow....

    I dont think it will happen though because he wont beat cotto

    Don't be fooled. this is Roach playing up to Mayweather's ego (which is HUGE). This is his way of coercing Mayweather into a lower weight fight which reduces his power and benefit's Pac Man.

    First camp Pacquiao announced the fight with Cotto. Then Mayweather postponed his fight due to an injury. Roach just talking crap here. I dont mind. I liked the way they fooled Mayweather. That guy just thought everybody is waiting for him. The injury is fake, they delayed the fight because a) for selling more tickets and b) with Cotto -Pacquaio fighting in November Mayweather is the one who needs to be busy. He could have fought Mosley but he is avoiding him by all means.

    If Pac were truly great he wouldn't need a handicap.:deal

    Floyd's given up 15-20lbs before in the ring.

    Manny doesn't have the skill level to do that.
