I thought Cotto's win over Clottey was pretty impressive considering the fact that he did it while being bothered by a pretty bad cut for 9 rounds. Cotto was dabbing at the cut with his glove throughout the fight but there were times in which Clottey looked like the guy who wanted out. Let's face it, nobody really beats Clottey convincingly but what does that mean? The guy's durable but he can be beaten if the opponent is up to the task.

First, what do you mean impressively?

The guy is a defensive fighter like Winky so nobody wins by completely dominating him . . . if that's what you are asking.

Why can't it be impressively though? Williams easily beat Wright regardless of Wright being past his prime in which that was impressive.

Like I said what's impressive to you?

Are you expecting Clottey to be beaten up black and blue until he quits or get KOed? It won't happen.

No. You're not reading my thread post correctly. But you haven't follow of why i post this thread in the first place. Many here are bashing Cotto for barely beating Clottey. Many here say since Cotto barely beat Clottey that it shows Cotto is on the decline or is a shot fighter in which is prove according to them that Pacquiao will ko Cotto. This is why i posted this thread to get an honest answer beside Cotto, is there any fighters in this era that can beat Clottey impressively?

Nah I've read your very first post and I understand what this is all about.

Cotto is not on the decline and it was already pointed out by more knowledgeable posters here long before the fight happens that it's gonna be a tough fight because Clottey is a very good defensive fighter and it's gonna be close.

People who doesn't want to give Cotto credit for that victory are in denial for what ever reason.

Nobody in the present roster of active welters can beat Clottey impressively. :deal

I was at that fight, so STFU. Floyd was beating him down the whole fight, nobody complained about the stoppage.

    Take your bull**** elsewhere.
