Ricky is telling the truth. I don't know how anybody can be against what Hatton says. Mayweather can't draw anybody unless he fights a fighter with a massive fanbase. Like, a De La Hoya and Hatton.
He's certainly not a DeLaHoya, Tyson or Hatton of this world... This fight against Marquez will give a much better idea of his true drawing power without a big figure to help him out in the process !
When PBF fought S. Mitchell is Portland, Oregon there were empty seats everywhere. It was almost like being at a high school wrestling match. You would never see that with RJJ, DLH, Pacman, Hatton, Marquez, etc.... (Any top fighter) If the next PBF fight sells a lot of tickets it will because all of the Mexican fans who want to see one of their favorite fighters shut his stupid ass up.
Most likely because the fight was moved close to September 16. Mexican independence day. GBP is hoping that mexicans will buy the fight while the level of patriotism is still high.
Hatton was a excellent ticket seller in UK when he was still undefeated coz Brits worship his hybrid (wrestling/boxing) style of fighting as he continued on winning. He can't sell in US. US sales was brought by his dancing partner in the ring. When he was beaten badly by floyd, his UK believers diminished. See how much he' sell in UK for his last fight with pac, it's horrible. How many Brits who lost their house and funds coz of him:rofl:rofl
Hatton is done, and nobody cares what he says about any fighter let alone Floyd. I saw on ESPN that ole block head might fight Khan lol... That will be 3 times he is flattened. I don't care who can or can't sell tickets, I'm going to watch Floyd-JMM period.
Ricky at the Pac fight had more people fly from another country to see him than Floyd draws to a live gate alone. It's one thing to be subjective about his ability in the ring which is open to interpretation, but Floyd has NEVER been a draw on his own at any time in his career.
You guys say the same old same old about Floyd, yet he participated in the biggest ppv boxing event EVER, and Dlh didn't do that all by himself. There have been guys who have not been great ppv wise by themselves, and I still saw great fights from them, so who gives a fuk what Hatton, and Floyd's critics have to say about ppv sales. You guys try to knock Floyd's style of boxing as if that is the reason why he doesn't sell, but the little guys really don't do big numbers ppv wise until today. It pains me to read bullshite from some of you guys, and it gets so bad that you guys hope that Floyd-JMM doesn't sell lol... WTF is dat about? Floyd has not done poor ppv numbers so who really cares what Hatton says lol... His days at the elite level are over!
