Where do you rank DLH and Trinidad as ATG's?

Personally I wouldnt class either as ATG's. Thinking about it if Trinidad had really beaten DLH convincingly then maybe yeah but as us rational people know that wasnt the case. DLH lost too many big fights for me and his best wins came against aged ATGs in Chavez and Whitaker although he was robbed in the second fight with Mosley. They both narrowly miss out.

Very close together with no arguments on who gets the nod but neither being fit enough to carry the elite`s (Robinson & co) spit bucket.

Guessing because I don't have a list that goes that far, but both would probably be somewhere around 70-80, DLH higher.

De la Hoya and Trinidad are HOF (De la Hoya per sure), but not ATG in my book, unless you start digging in the "also ran" annex list :deal

You don't think DLH and Tito are in the Top 100 fighters of all time?

Personally I can't see any justification for Tito being above DLH on an all time list, and I like Tito and am not fond of DLH

In my post-war top 100 I'd have Trinidad between 70-80 and DLH between 60-70.

Tito should absolutely not be above DLH. I would think they should be seperated by a significant numbers of places, but still be in the same tier of fighters, if that makes sense.

DLH has twice as many world titles as Tito - he was a champion at more weights and IMO has a better resume. What the argument for Tito>DLH?

I don't consider either one an ATG. I feel that Hoya lost to Whitaker, Quartey and Sturm so the best names on his resume are an old Chavez, Mayorga, Vargas and Trinidad. Trinidad was a monster at welterweight but he was one dimensional and his resume is lacking.

I think both De La Hoya and Tito are ATG who are not able to beat other prime ATG's.
They would beat the elite fighters at 147/154 who are not all time greats. But both should be ranked in the upper top 100.

I haven't got Tito above Oscar. I have said Oscar is above him. I don't count De La Hoya's MW title really. Like I don't count Chavez's draw against Pea. If I think a decision is irrevecobly (spelling?) wrong, I will reverse it in my mind when judging a fighters ranking in my list. I also think De La Hoya's wins over Chavez mean close to nothing, and his fight with Pea does more to enhance the losers reputation than it did the winner.

As I say, De La Hoya is in amongst the 80's to 70's. Trinidad is at least ten places lower.
