oh man no doubt , musculature is no garauntee of being any good. I just used that to illustrate that in my opinion Tito was no middleweight ! Even by the end of the fight he'd probably sweated down to 154 !

Thats not a dig at Hopkins , I love ole grumpy ass Hopkins but Tito was nowehere strong enough to deal with him ( and honestly ) Tito was a one trick pony if you could live with his power ( which granted was brutal down at Welter ) you had him beat.

that's about right:good I dont like Joe at all as a boxer but i have to respect his skills and ability. Cal would destroy them both and win lopsided UD. Joe still has the ugliest punching style in boxing World.:dead

IMO, If they were all the same size NATURALY. in a P4P sense...
No doubt both Trinidad & De La Hoya defeat him.
(Not move up weight.. But had they been the same weight class from jump)

Yeah I know what you mean but its so hard to say that I mean if DLH was a naturally bigger man to start of wiht , he wouldnt have been so quick and maybe his fading down the stretch would have been even worse y'know. My problem with the p4p argument is that its only ever used in the smaller guys favour.

But like I said I certainly don't wanna start a fued over it ! :D

i hate calzaghe but he makes minced meat out of these guys, have mercy thread starter

  9. Which Calzaghe?

I'd fancy almost any version to beat either version of those 2 to be honest - although obviously a green jones at that point may beat a green calzaghe - much of Calzaghe's ability to beat people came with his ring experience and adaptability, although he's always hard to beat really.

Oscar quits mid to late rounds ... no on stool but b/s knockout ... Tito gets knockout, outclassed, and given a lesson through and through till the stoppage.

I see straight through this. This isnt a Calzaghe vs tito/oscar thread.

This is a Calzaghe > Hopkins thread.
