Anybody believe Tyson/ Douglas was FIXED?

    I see this fight pop up all the time, but I've yet to hear anybody beleive this fight was fixed....Although, a lot lesser fights are accused of it.
    This fight had betting odds of something like 40/50-1!!!! People stood to make a lot of $ on this fight. People also forget the fact that Tyson fought like **** compared to how he been fighting.
    In no way do i say 100% this fight was fixed, but I'm saying it's a possibility. I'm just surprised nobody ever mentions it. I know Douglas went down, but hell I could let somebody hit me, go down, and get back up as well (doesn't mean they had to hit me 100%). Actors like Bruce Lee made movies where they tap eachother, or throw at eachother(while making it look realistic), and they didn't get serious injuries. They use barefists, feet, and still look realistic as opposed to using 8 oz gloves.
    Also, I'm not really all that pro Mike Tyson in case your wondering. I do believe not a lot of people could beat him in his prime, but think he could be beaten. Just the fact he looked so like ****, and the odds were so high...Makes me wonder personally.

    I don't think so. I guess there is a record of how much money has been made and how many people did bet big on the fight. I mean this kind of upset was due to happen one day.

    No. Tysons face said it all when he got KTFO. If it was fixed Mike should got an Oscar trophy for best actor.

    no way was it fixed. tyson was going through a lot of **** in his life. i also remembered when he was on that show 'beyond the glory', he said he was messing with japanese girls, and he slept with so many that he described as like "popping grapes in his mouth" more than one at a time i guess.

    As much excuses as we can make for Mike...
    Buster defo got the K.O. & Tyson got KTFO.
    (& deserves all credit for putting down Mike against all odds)
