Sounds like HBO played hardball. Told both of them they wouldn't be fighting on HBO anytime soon if they didn't make this. All those saying Pdub had an edge cuz he had the date? Wrong. Hermit who said HBO wouldn't look on him too kindly if this fight didn't get made? Right.
I put "Ray" on my ignore list long ago. Scar and Psychopath almost made it recently. I was getting tired of their back and forth. They seemed to have settled down now though.
I think you're not giving Williams credit. I don't know if you still have me on ignored but hbo did not told those 2 fighters that if this fight doesn't get signed then none of them will fight hbo anytime soon. And yes hbo had the date line up for Williams if he and Pavlik can't fight each other. <<It was already reported. But to me it sounds like you're not giving Williams credit for taking this fight in which that sucks.
I know one thing is for sure is not to argue about boxing to hermit cause he's easily will put anybody on ignored just like that if he don't agree to them. But thats cool.
