I'm pretty sure they will have one, they just gotta get past the Mayweather Marquez one first before they start thinking about another one.

24/7 worked really well for Mayweather-DLH because the personalities (mainly PBF's obnoxious one) drew more mainstream fans that wanted to see the fight.

I don't know too many mainstream fans will be drawn in by two guys with broken english who just say the boring answers.

They can only stress home "This should be a good fight" so much for 3 to 4 episodes.

I would love to see the preparations of the fighters and training and all that, but I don't think HBO is trying to get a fan like me to buy the PPV with a show like 24/7. Fans like me will be watching regardless, they're trying to get people who otherwise would not watch the PPV.

MANILA, Philippines -- Like Manny Pacquiao’s last two megafights, a special prelude will be prepared for his clash with Puerto Rican star Miguel Cotto, the fight's promoter said today.

Speaking to __.com, Top Rank’s Bob Arum said to drum up interest in the bout, a four-episode “24/7” special will be produced anew by broadcast network HBO -- which will telecast the fight live on pay-per-view.

Both Pacquiao and Cotto reportedly agreed verbally to meet in the ring on Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada, for boxing’s biggest fight in the second half of 2009. The bout will be held at a 145-lb weight limit.

Pacquiao’s previous fights with Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton were likewise preceded with the HBO-produced “24/7,” which has won an Emmy Award for best sports documentary. The series has been HBO’s tool for generating interest in its major PPV boxing shows.

Debuting in 2007 to hype up the Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather bout, the critically acclaimed four-part series has boosted PPV subscriptions -- with De La Hoya-Mayweather setting a record for the most PPV buys at 2.4 million households worth $120 million.

The primer provides in-depth coverage on the fighters’ preparations leading to their square-off. Off-ring footage is likewise featured, delving further into the combatants' personalities.
