haha, anywhere you have calzaghe in the top 10 you'll get **** on..some will say he's not top 10, some will say he's the best but not a bad list at all:rofl and five is just fine for joe i think
Thanks for the feedback guys. I generally think these are the best ten of the decade its just getting them in order thats difficult. Calzaghe was hard to place but I felt fifth would keep everyone happy particularily as I placed Hopkins second. As for Barrera and Morales being so far apart, well maybe thats personal preference although Morales had the win over Pacquiao which certainly counts for something. Winky Wright to high? Perhaps but he definately deserves top ten in my book. Last but not least the heavyweights, Vitali and Wlad have certainly dominated since Lewis' retrement but they cannot be top ten they just havent had the opposition. Lewis is in my list of the top ten of the nineties but he only fought seven times since 2000 so I cant find a place for him here. I may add my list for the nineties, I've got a list of the best ten of each decade going all the way back to the twenties if theres interest I shall post them.
Good list, i would replace izzy with Cotto and switch winky with mosley possibly. I would siwtch Marquez and mayweather probably too, heck i may put PBF at 5 and Calz at 4.
1. Bernard Hopkins 2. Manny Pacquiao 3. Shane Mosley 4. Lennox Lewis 5. Winky Wright 6. Floyd Mayweather 7. Marco Antonio Barrera 8. Juan Manuel Marquez 9. Erik Morales 10. Zab Judah My opinion.
1. Hopkins 2. Pacquiao 3. Mayweather 4. Mosley 5. Barrera 6. Morales 7. Lewis 8. Marquez 9. Winky 10. Calzaghe
Nice. I debated over putting Hopkins top but decided against it. I have Lennox in a 90's list. The only suprise for me is Judah I dont think he really capitalised on his potential.
Mayweather Pacquiao Morales Barrera Hopkins Calzaghe Marquez Mosely DLH Winky Very hard to do tho I must admit.
