A typical floyd mayweather senior conversation in the corner: "Now now lookie here, lookie, lookie, lookie mother****er, lookie here, you gotta jab that mother****er, lookie, lookie here, lookie, lookie, jab mother****er, lookie, lookie, jab, lookie, lookie, mother****er, lookie" DING DING
angelo dundee- and i cant remember which fighter it was, but the fighter said he saw 3 of his opponent and dundee said "hit the one in the middle"
My favorite quote is "you can't lose to a man with titties" when Seldon fought Robles. It's from Rocky IV, but also supposedly something Dundee told Leonard early in his career when Leonard clashed heads with his opponent and said he saw 3 of them.
Cant remember the ****wit`s name but what about Azumah Nelson`s cornerman/manager in the Pernell Whitaker fight ? `He`s getting tired, he`s getting tired` Doesnt sound so bad right ?... sounds like the sort of thing you might say to boost your guy up. This ****in inbred uttered these words in between rds ONE & TWO :nut atsch Even Nelson looked at him as if to say `wtf are you on ?`
Jeff Fenech in the corner of many fighters in the US is always hialrious. Watch the Mosley Shannan Taylor fight for example.
Him and Hyder have a pretty similar style..might work to motivate some but its a bit much. How about Angelo slapping big Bob in the face when he had a broken jaw..
For the great reputations that Floyd Sr and Roger Mayweather have as trainers, I don't think I've ever heard either guy give there fighters any useful advice. But then again maybe that's because their fighters are usually winning. Hard to pick out the flaws of your fighter when you're training Floyd Jr, Oscar, Dawson, Guzman, among others. Floyd Sr was horrible in Hatton's corner for the Pac fight though. Although he only had one round to give any advice.....
The following conversation was heard during an amateur boxing match in the 1940s between a boxer who wanted to give up and his trainer trying to dissuade him from doing so. Boxer: Throw in the towel. Trainer: There's no towel. Boxer: Throw in the sponge. Trainer: There's no sponge. Boxer: Then throw in the f*ing bucket!
